I love Jane Isabella and Cory and Ruby are so pretty. Claire is one of my top choices and for some reason it doesn't click with DH.

He tends to get attached early and then won't discuss options. ugh! I do love Madeline but wasn't sure if it was over-used now, seems like we know a lot of little girls with that name. I know Hazel is getting "out there" in terms of being a bit dated but I think it's on its way back. Julia Roberts names her daughter Hazel, it's moved up in popularity consistently over the last 9 years (social security website info) and there are a few threads on babycenter from various birth months with moms loving that name.

Isabella is definitely a fave of mine but I think DH is scared I'll call her Bella (a la twilight). Which is funny cause our boy names were George and Edward

Jane and Claire would be really pretty.....

i love picking out names - so much fun but also hard to come to a decision with DH - LOL! my DH is french, so we wanted names that worked in both countries (at least from a pronunciation view in the US) ... our first two girls are Audrey Grace and Juliette Louise ... other names on the list for future kids are: girls -> Genevieve, Pascale, Jane and Kate boys -> Pascal (obviously wouldn't use it if we named a girl pascale - LOL), oscar (DH and i love this - the rest of the family hates it so much i cannot even describe! LOL) ... boy names are difficult for us - but i don't think there's any way we'll have more than 2 more kids, so we're OK

I guess I can sympathize a little bit with you. When we found out I was pregnant with DS, we both just agreed that we would name him after my DH, Sean. But until we found out, I was the one causing problems. Since I have been working with children for over 10 yrs, they are just certain names I could NEVER use, because I just associate them with that rotten kid.
What about Charlotte, Sarah, or Mary?

well at least you have a bit of time still.....I'm due is like.....8 days and if this baby is a boy he will be nameless because we CAN NOT decide!!!! We do have a girls name......so if it's a girl we are ok. Here are some of the girl's names I liked....but you mihgt not like them since I tend to like unisex names for my girls (hence me having a Sydney Paige and a Reese Elizabeth).

Bryce
Campbell
Teagan
Reagen
Quinn
Camryn

Good luck with the naming Emmy....it's so hard!!!!!

This is me too, with coaching skating. I have coached hundreds of kids, some rotten little brats too, and because of it, they ruined a lot of names for me.
