Need invite help/ideas- and quick!

I have been SO busy with work and home I haven't even scrapped in easily two weeks But now, I have to come up with an invite for a bridal shower we're having for a team mate at school (and not knowing anything about digiscrap or how busy I am) - they want it ready TOMORROW! Thankfully it'll just be e-mailed out so I don't have to print anything, but still.

So I'd love you to link me up to any invites you've done, give my ideas for kits I could use, etc. Her colors are ivory and dark purple, so I'd like to stick with that, but it's such short notice, I just want to make her something cute. I was digging through my stash and think maybe So Memorable would work...

Hmm, I don't really have any great ideas, but Kristin has these templates, so you could customize them with any kit/colors - not sure how well they'd work for invites, but it's the first thing that came to mind...

First off, stop stressing! Invites are easy! All anyone really expects is the who/what/where/when type stuff. I would make it a normal size rectangle (I like 5x7 for invites), make a mat or two (I like 0.25" mats personally). Use a patterned paper or two, and a solid for the top layer that the text goes on. Add a flower or two, or some of that cute wordart, and it'll be perfect

Here are the last 3 I've made, grant it they were for my kids's birthday parties....but I agree with Col....you just need something simple and classy with some splashes of color and it will be perfect!!!!
