Thumbs up I have a great idea!

I think it would be so fun if the designers did a "theme" week of kits based on 80's movies. Each designer could pick an 80's movie and then create a kit based on it, however she was inspired, not necessarily in keeping with the theme of the movie or influenced by the 80's or anything. Think of all the possibilities...Goonies, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles. The list goes on and on! Wouldn't that be fun?!

*lol* This is why I love you so much, Kellie. You always come up with such sweet-sounding, 'Designers, do as I say!' suggestions.

'Twould be a fun idea.

I love anything 80s so I definitely vote for this!
Like you I have a million ideas for kits that I'd like to suggest but I always feel weird suggesting things. Not sure why though.

Ooh that would be awesome!!! I've just finished making a 80's invitation for my sister's 25th birthday, she's having a all out 80's party, everyone has to come in costume, serving 80's food, playing 80's music and I'm going to be spray painting old cassette tapes which we are going to hang all over the place! Plus all those 80's games, and memorabilia! Its going to be awesome! I cant figure out what to wear yet! LOL

My 25th is in December and I'm still trying to think of a theme for my birthday. I thought about 80s.

Just wondering what 80s food is. I don't remember eating anything in particular in the 80s that I didn't eat in the 70s and 90s as well. LOL!

And, BTW, I think this is such a fun idea. It would be interesting to see what everyone would come up with.

I just bought Pretty in Pink, Stand by Me and Adventures in Babysitting to have in the van for summer road trips. We already bought Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles last year when John Hughes died. I had Chesney, my 10 y.o., put the new movies in the van. She took one look at the cover of Pretty in Pink and said, "Isn't that the guy from Two and a Half Men?"

This is true!!!

I'm not a huge fan of the 80s, but if the right theme was picked (krystal--the princess bride, that's a great one!) or if it was the right twist, it would be super cute.
