What's up with putting your name/link in the layout loving thread if you don't leave love for anyone else? Ugh. Sorry. I'm kinda irritated today. I put links to my layouts in thread the other day, and then commented on 17 other layouts. 17. Not just the person above me. I know you don't have to do that, but it would have been nice if just one person below me had commented on my layouts?
 I did get 2 comments, but they weren't from anyone below me on the list. I know some people come back to leave love, but there are 10 people in that thread after me, and a whole day time wise.Kinda hurts your feelings you know?

i know how you feel - that DOES hurt your feelings! i really appreciate when people give me comments back (layout loving thread or not) .... and it reminds me that i am a little behind in responding to comments i've received (!) ...

I agree...sometimes it might take me a day or two to get back but normally I try to do it right then...and I think if you are gonna play you should have the courtesy to go leave love for some other folks...so if I don't feel like doing it, then I don't post a link in that thread

I'm behind too on returning comments too which always makes me feel bad.
With my youngest cutting in four teeth it's hard to leave comments with meaning so I'm trying to sneak them in during her breif naps. (If I'm lucky enough for her to take one) I got some done today, hopefully I can catch up some more later.

If I post a layout in the Lovin Thread, I always leave love for everyone on the same page as me, and if I'm only like #2 on a new page, I'll leave love for everyone on the page ahead of me as well. A couple times I was on page 3 or 4, and I left love for every single person in the entire thread (that took forever, lol). Sometimes I only get maybe 1 comment in return... it does kind of hurt. I try to remember that most of us here are momma's and sometimes we intend to leave love but things come up and then we forget altogether.
Sorry nobody commented on your layouts Jac. Your layouts are always so beautiful!!

I, for one, find your pages incredibly inspiring, Jacinda!! I have only ever played the game a few times (I feel too intimidated by the talent here, don't want to draw too much attention to my own lackage!), but I really only do if I have time right at that moment to comment, otherwise I would easily forget. I hope it wasn't intentional, but it does still hurt. I have to do better overall about leaving love here, I always think it in my head because you ladies are AWESOME!

I don't think it was intentional. I've been playing lately and I know that it's sometimes 2 or 3 days before comments show up on my pages. And even up to a week and I still have a comment or 2 trickling in. I know weekends alot of girls get their pages in the gallery at midnight and then pop them in the lovin' thread and they might not get back to it till Monday. Weekends are busy for a lot of people and I know us girls here in the east are experiencing a bout of super nice/warm weather and I'm sure not many of us were on the computer for long periods of times.

I have to say , although of course I am partial, that is one of the things I like best about the praise game here at SSD. It runs for a full week, not just a day and people DO go back through the thread all through the week. Like someone else said, sometimes its a couple days later and I will get some comments, so in that aspect it's good. I too won't play unless I can spare the what, TWO minutes it takes to praise another page? It's a good rule of thumb. if you have time to be there long enough to ASK for praise, you have time to GIVE praise.

I know that feeling Jacinda. I like to male sure I leave love for everyone above me on the page I'm on, more if time permits. It's awesome to receive gallery comments, so I have no trouble leaving them, to put a smile on someones face

Aw you guys, thanks so much for making me feel better, and for everyone who has gone out of their way to comment in my gallery today. I really appreciate you doing that, though it wasn't the reason I started the thread. I think today was just an off day for me. I do love the comments people leave in the gallery here - they're so much more meaningful than on many other sites where generic comments seem to be the norm. I guess I was just frustrated that so many had posted and run, instead of leaving some love like they're supposed to. Like others have said, if you don't have time to leave love, then don't post in that thread till you DO have time.
Anyway...thanks for letting me blow off steam, and just for everything....

I usually only post my layouts when I have time to leave comments too. I HAVE to play this game or I wouldn't get ANY comments! LOL Plus, I feel like I kind of get to know the gals who play on a regular basis.

I agree that you shouldnt post your LO in the thread if you dont have time to leave some love for other people. I havent posted in the thread for a few weeks because I just havent had time to go comment. It does hurt when you play the game and leave love for other people but dont get any love in return. We all need to spread the love!

I'm Jamie on this. If I play... i must have time to leave love for at least 5 above me more if i have the time. I will upload to the gallery because of a NR deadline or something and put it in the thread a day or 2 later when I have time.

I always try to leave love for everybody, be it over me or under me (no puns intended). Sometimes I postpone this for a day or so and then comment on 20 LOs in a row. Anyway, if I play this game, I try to play it fair and leave as much love as possible. I also try to leave meaningful comments, which requires some time and that's why I sometimes wait until I have more time. And if I leave out anybody it only means I passed their LO accidentally. :-)
