Default What are some Christmas movies your kids like to watch?

Mine are 5 & 7 (almost 8)
We just watched the Search for Santa Paws, and I wouldn't really recommend it, I had 2 kids crying and sad multiple times throughout the movie. The ending is happy of course, but it was just one thing after another that was making them sad in the movie
Any other good movie suggestions?

My kids (5,3,3,2) all love the Mickey Mouse Christmas Movies, we have 4 of them.
They also love the Santa Claus trilogy with Tim Allen and Elf with Will Farrell.

Others that are popular in our house is the Dora Christmas Carol, My Little Pony Minty Christmas, the Madagascar Penguins one (cant think of the title) and Shrek the Halls always get a laugh out of the kids!

The Grinch ( with Jim Carrey) is good but my kids dont really get it yet, probably still a little too young.

Older kids ones we like are Miracle on 34th Street, A Mom for Christmas and Jingle All The Way are all favourties!

My dd will be 4 in a few weeks and we are thoroughly entrenched in the Veggie Tales Christmas movies - The Star of Christmas, Saint Nicholas, and It's a Meaningful Life. We also watch the Muppet Christmas Carol and the original Grinch (NOT the Jim Carrey one). That's pretty much it around here, but I'm kind of a freak when it comes to what TV we're exposed to.

All the Veggie Tale ones and the classics like The Grinch, Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Frosty, It's a Wonderful Life, etc.

Last year there was a TV movie...something like The Dog Who Saved Christmas...can't remember exact title, but kids LOVED it.

My daughter just loves Annabelle's Wish. The Santa Clause is another big favorite - and all the sequels.

Anna (almost 4) loves Annabelles Wish, when I drug out the Christmas movies & let her pick, it was the very first one she wanted to see & has asked for it several more times. She also loves the "Grunch" (which to most of us is the Grinch), & any of the sing-a-long Christmas ones.

My 4 year old loves all of the classics (Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town, Charlie Brown etc) She also loves The Polar Express, The Mickey Christmas ones and also one I think is called Snow Buddies or something like that about Golden Retriever puppies.. She has a Golden, so it is relateable to her.

My daughter has been really wanting to see The Search for Santa Paws. Maybe not a good idea.

My kids like Holidaze a lot. Alas, it is not on Netflix Instant Watch anymore.

So far we have watched the old school cartoon Grinch and Rudolph. He enjoyed both. I set up to DVR Elf, The Santa Clause triology, the Jim Carrey Grinch, not sure what else. The best was I didn't think he was paying that much attention to Grinch, but at the end he says, "So, the Green Man, he likes Christmas now?" (he's 4) That cracked me up.

Oh my gosh... my kiddo LOVES Veggie Tale's Saint Nicholas... given we are on the eve of St. Nicholas Day... he had to watch it 3 times!! And I'm sure he will be asking to watch for it again when he is up from a nap...

That may be my favorite - it's very Disney-esque in the humor for parents and I laugh out loud throughout the whole movie, while DD (almost 4) keeps asking, "What's so funny, Mom?"
