Anyone doing a 2010 recap layout?

I remembered that I think last new year's eve I made a layout listing a bunch of personal highlights from 2009. I looked it up and am thinking about trying to create one for 2010. Anyone else making a highlights layout/list tonight?

I did one but didn't post it anywhere....all I did was picked my favorite picture from each month and put it in a 2 page LO

I always do a LO using Christine Newman's templates of the year. This year the big 11, they turn out really cute.

I let her pick out the kit and the background paper for hers, she obviously has a favorite color

Misty did you just go through and add pictures from each month in order> I would LOVE to do one with your template, but not sure how to really go abot it...I do have Cinsy's templates as well

Yep, that is pretty much what I did. I picked 7-10 photos from each month and stuck them in. As I added each one to the template I added a numbered point to the journaling about it.

I recapped 2010 by making a 2011 calendar with photos from 2010 - for the January page I used 2 photos from January 2010 and so forth. I've done this for the past several years and when the calendar is done I have put the pages into an album and have a synopsis for each year.

Cindy, aside from your templates, have you thought about selling a microchip that I can implant into my brain so I can scrap like this??? I would buy it!

Oh brilliant idea! I just thought of somehow forcing her to scrap all my photos. And while we're at it, I want a KayM microchip to come with the Cindy template sets as well! They just go so well together.

Phew... finally got this one done. Every year I always want to do a recap of the major stories of the year, but never get it done... no wonder, geez, hard to find some of these things! I finally came across a website that gave me the top news stories... but try to find what the number one song for 2010 or the number one book is... goodness! Doesn't anyone keep track of that?

So here is mine... took me all day to do this. I still want to do a family YIR... but that may be a few days after I recover from this... LOL!
