Thumbs up Anyone have any New Years Resolutions?

I always start out with a list a mile long about things I want and plan to change. This year I simplified the list immensely. It has helped that I've recently turned 40 and have been feeling very ill, all the time. This latest kit by Jenn Barrette made me realize that it is time to take care of me!

so tell me, do you have any goals or changes that you plan to make in 2011?

My goals this year are to simplify, and concentrated more on what is important to me. I am going to cut down on outside obligations, and focus on my family, myself, and my designs.

It is so easy to get caught up in all that other stuff, isn't it? Great list Jenn!
Happy New Year girl!

I'm downloading this kit right now as I type. I don't tend to make New Year resolutions, because I don't usually follow through with them anyway. Makes me feel like a politician. LOL

However...this year, I made one resolution and that is to be healthy again. To look after myself, my body. To lose the weight so that I am within a healthy range again, to exercise so that I can have more energy and to just really look after myself.

My main goal is to lose a little weight and get fit again. Thankfully those are hubby's goals too, which will make it a lot easier for me.

I want to change a lot of things this year about myself and my life but my main resolution is to spend more quality time with my family and friends...

I don't make resolutions - I've learned over the years that I have to go with what comes along. I already take care of me and live a simple life, so I'm pretty happy in general with where I'm at

I lost and was able to keep off 30lbs. last year in all the craziness of taking care of my Grandfather~so my resolution is to walk my treadmill daily whether it be for 15 or 50 mins~to actually finish at least 1 LO a week (I could never CT..lol) and just not sweat the small stuff =)

you go, girl! that's awesome!

i'd like to do this too - let go and let God on the stuff that I micromanage and can't change anyhow which tends to be everything - and lose the last confounded # around my waist.

to 2011 - may it be our best year yet!

I decided if I used the word "Resolution" I would feel guilty if I didn't do something from my list.

So I said "Goals for 2011" would be a good start and what an accomplishment when I can cross something off my list.

1 of my top goals will be to scrap more...

I have some usual goals, that I always have. But as in a special accomplishment for that particular year I want to improve my photography skills further. I did P365 last year, which was good to get me into the groove. But now I need to focus on getting really good pictures.

My goal is to just try to make healthier decisions. For myself and my family.

Mine are the same as always: declutter, lose weight, spend less money.

This year I think I am going to come up with a specific plan and have mini-goals each week so I am not floundering in vagueness.....

This is mine. We have so many things we want to do, but we don't do anything to make them happen. We've been living totally reactively and I want to live intentionally.

I'm usually antiesolution. I have to decide to change something because I've truly reached the breaking point with it and can't stand not to change it, not because of anything external like a new year. But I reached that point with my weight a few weeks ago, and I got back on the weight-loss wagon. So this year I want to finally get back to a weight I'm happier at and maintain it.

I like that Lucrecia! I want to cook more, eat better and just be healthier -for me and my family. I want to learn to take better pictures (even with my crappy camera). I want to participate in challenges here and get better with scrapping. And finally, amidst all the extra-curricular activities for the kids and I, I want to spend more quality time with my family.

Mine are much the same as everyone's here. I did a layout that I am going to frame and put it on my desk so I have to look at it every day.

Here's my list

Good luck everyone!
