Survivor Redemption-Spoilers
So..I knew about these 2 b/c I had read a spoiler board a few weeks ago (actually finale night for the previous season). When they did the close up of these 2 I just knew..they'd be on this next season...
anyways here's the announcement...the other cast members were released earlier this week. I still love this show..so many seasons in but I am kinda tired of these same 2 names over and over..it's like CBS wants one of them to win lol http://www.people.com/people/article...457108,00.html

There is a video up on the Survivor FB with these 2 talking about returning. I hate Russell - did not see him his first season, but can't understand why he has the notoriety he does. Seems to me there have been plenty of polarizing players in the past. Why is he such a big deal?
I love me some Boston Rob - can't wait to see him again.

I watched the Jeff Probst video on EW.com where he talks about them reentering the game. I hated Boston Rob his first season, but now I've grown to like him enough that I'd like to see him finally win.
I may actually half watch again this season. I'm a half watcher... won't change the channel if it's on, but won't turn the channel to it unless someone's here to remind me.

Geez.... enough of them already! Especially Russell. He's just a sore loser and acts like he thinks he's so special that he's going to keep throwing temper tantrums until he gets his dang money and title. Crybaby! And please tell me they aren't bringing Coach back again! I'd have to shoot the TV if I have to see that jerk again! LOL

I started liking Rob during All-Stars when he and Amber hooked up. His play to get (forgot his name) to promise to take care of Amber when they switched tribes was brilliant since she ended up winning and he coming in 2nd.
And I loved them on The Amazing Race (they were SO robbed!!! What plane comes BACK from taking off???). Would like to see him win, but I highly doubt EITHER of them will go very far. Hmmm...I have to decide if I want to spoil myself on this season.

haha, yeah, this was one of the worst kept secrets in tv history. This twist was rumored even before the final of the last season. I'm actually more excited about the Redemption Island twist. It seems like it'll be kind of like Survivor meets Real World/Road Rules Challenge.
 I'm a newbie Survivor watcher so Heroes vs Villains was the first season I ever watched. I actually like Russell but I went back and watched his first season and I'm not really sure I understand why there was so much hype about him being the best Survivor player ever. I know a lot of people thought Natalie didn't do anything to win but I'm not convinced he would have made it as far as he did without her social game - or without all the immunity idols he found. I felt the same way about HvV - I thought Parvati played the best physical AND social game. I'd think the social game would be the harder part so I don't see how you can be the best player ever if you don't understand how to win the social aspect of the game. I only know of Rob from the short time he was on HvV and I found him really really really annoying so I'm not all that excited to seem him back. I know they tried to hype up the Rob vs Russell rivalry on that season but I think it was just that - hype. It'll be interesting to see if they manage to convince people to keep them around or if it'll be more like what happened to Jimmy Johnson - since he was a known entity, people saw him as a threat.

I used to not like Rob but the last couple of times he's been on he's grown on me...
all I know is that ANYTHING has to be better than last season's cast...worst season ever for sure! Can't wait!!

LOOOOOOVE me some Boston Rob...I don't know what it is with him, but I just love hearing him talk.
Russell I was ok with until he acted like a baby on his first show when he lost...then I lost respect for him. I'm excited for the new season to start!

another Rob fan here! I'm excited to see him back! I really started liking him after the All-Stars season - and I totally cheered on him and Amber during the Amazing Race!

I should add, I liked Russell a lot the first time he was on, not so much the 2nd.
I've had quite enough of BOTH of them, though. Seriously neither of these guys is so compelling I need to see them on season after season. lol
