webkinz! accounts don't expire, and on ipod!

My youngest doesn't have school today, so we've been playing webkinz together LOL... I know, don't mock me. Anyway, thought I'd share that Webkinz accounts don't expire now!!!! Info on that. That is pretty cool! And, LOL, god I'm such a dork, I'm stupidly excited that now they have a few of the webkinz games for the iPhone and iPod Touch! Info on that. Cash Cow here I come!

But wait...

If you know a friend with an expired account, they can come back and play in Webkinz World again (as long as they’ve played in the last year).

How is that different? Isn't that saying that if they haven't played in the last year, they can't, and therefore it's expired?

I have my own webkinz account so I can play games against my son (he has his own account), and it expired over the summer. Today when we went to webkinz we saw that announcement so I tried to log into my account and sure enough my webkinz was fine. But if my account had expired over a year ago I guess it wouldn't have worked?

accounts use to expire one year after you added the webkin to your account. So, I had added my webkin in summer of 2009 and summer of 2010 it expired. Just because the year was up since I had added it to the account. I had played in the last year, but that isn't what kept an account active.

I guess I will find out when my boys get home from school. I'll have them try their accounts. But I'm thinking we haven't done anything with Webkinz for a while now.

Oh good!!! Luke hasn't played in awhile, but he's getting a fish for his birthday from one of his buddies. I was just talking about how he probably doesn't have any valid animals anymore.
