Thumbs up Awesomest idea/tip ever!!

So I can't take credit for this...I found it on a blog last night (this one) but I just had to share...because it's like the bestest ever!!! Hope this helps someone and I'm not like the dummy of the bunch and the last to know this

When hanging picture collages...trace your frames on to some paper (or use the insert just remember that you will have to leave a little extra space for the width of your frame) and tack them up on your walls to get a good layout....then you aren't moving a bajillion nails (leaving many holes behind) many many times!!!

My set up:

She suggested using pins...I have plaster walls and pins were not working so I used thumb tacks! She also suggested marking where your hanger is so to make it easier too!!

The finished results...with not a nail moved at all!!! Yeah Me!!!!

Yep - my mom taught me that trick a while back. I just use tape so that I don't get any of the holes from the pins either. It works great! I need to change some of the frames on my wall, so it's about time for me to do this again.

What a cool idea! You'd think as long as I've been around & as much as we've moved over the years, I would know about this . . . but it's a new one to me. AND awesome!
