Default Survivor (spoilers)

Yay Matt! OOhhh I hope he makes it back into the game!! That would be so awesome lol

Boston Rob...is ....hilarious... When he threw that hidden immunity clue into the volcano..that was totally priceless... I read Jeff Probst's blog this morning and he said that was ALL Rob's idea and they didn't even know he was going to do it lol I'm really rooting for him this time.

Phillip is hilarious.

Those little girls on Rob's team are so stupid. He's just leading them around by the nose and apparently they're too clueless to realize it. "Save the cripsy rice for Rob..That's Rob's share...Rob Rob Rob lol"

I think someone they aren't considering is Grant..he's quiet and seems to be letting Rob call the shots right now but that guy is killing in challenges and when they merge next week he may be the one that wins time after time.

Those girls are biotches. Pity they didn't fall into the volcano.

Phillip is cracking me UP. He's the most entertaining person they've had on there in a long while. LOL that he deserves the crispy because he's the oldest. I laughed a lot when he said "they sleep in his underwear". They are SO STUPID, seriously. Have they ever even watched the show? lol

ok the volcano scene was hilarious. i agree with your grant comment it's like they've edited him so that he is in the background then they will make him more a focus later - like it's a surprise.

there is no way that sari can beat matt at a challenge. go matt!

My husband doesn't usually watch it, so when that happened and Jeff started explaining, he was like "..wait...was that guy serious?"

I didn't like Boston Rob during HvV but I am loving him this season. The grin on his face when he threw the clue into the volcano was priceless. I just can't get over how dumb Rob's tribe seems to be. Will be interesting to see what happens to them once they merge.

I did have a question about the hidden immunity idols. Rob has found three clues so far so does that mean there are 3 HII hidden in the camp? The one Rob found and 2 more? Are you only allowed to have one HII at a time? And how is it that NO ONE on that tribe seems to think it's weird there haven't been any HII clues? Have they never watched the show?? I mean even Ralph was smart enough to know about HII and that's saying something, haha.

I think Matt is a great competitor. I just worry he'll come back and just go with the flow rather than stirring up trouble (which you know someone like Stephanie would have done if he she'd returned, haha) But he does have an advantage as he's the only one in the game who's heard ALL the information that came out about both tribes at the duels. Should be interesting to see what he does with that knowledge.

only one immunity idol is in play for each tribe at a time.

Oh ok, that makes sense. So the clues are for the idol Rob already found. Why are there new clues for it though? Is it just because it hasn't been played yet?

I think they just keep adding to clue until the idol is played. But since Rob already has it he has no need for the new clues and I guess he's making sure to get rid of them before anyone sees them so that no one will know he has it. He's been caught a couple of times though with Grant...it was hilarious also when he swapped the new clue for the old one a couple of episodes ago.

The hidden immunity idols in the past were really hard to find - they have really made it a lot easier for contestants to find them on their own. (Ozzie swimming out to a small island comes to my mind) The new clues add on to the previous clue. For example:

clue 1- it's in a tree
clue 2 - it's in a tree in camp
clue 3 - it's in a tree in camp that is dead
etc. etc.

Phillip is HILARIOUS!! Next week should definitely be intersting! Especially since Phillip will probably flip...and if Sarita makes it back....

The look on his face was absolutely priceless when he tossed the clue in. He amazes me. I've seen him on three previous survivors and the Amazing Race and hated him. Only this time have I fallen in love with him and I think it's because I can't stand Russell. but now I love Rob.

I really really hope that Matt makes it back in, he completely deserves it at this point.

And I think Phillip is a lunatic but he's grown on me.

Aside from Ashley and Natalie in Rob's tribe I actually like all the remaining contestants.

I never liked Rob before, either. I love him this time because he is playing SO SMART. Switching the clues? Brilliant, I never would have thought to do that. lol

Oh ok, got it. I only started watching during HvV and it seemed like there were a million idols flying around in that season but it might have just been because they played them more often. Well and now that I think about it Parvati's 2nd idol was actually from the Heroes tribe since it was the idol JT gave to Russell. So the one-per-tribe rule makes more sense now.

Thanks everyone for answering my stupid questions!

Ok I have to ask, does anyone else think Matt is a complete idiot after this week?

I mean, I understand having principles and all but this is SURVIVOR. Why did you bother coming if you weren't even going to play the game? Winning is all about making smart moves which yes, sometimes means you have to backstab people. But really, flipping on people who blindsided you hardly qualifies as a backstab.

I just couldn't get over when he told Rob how glad he was they talked because now he didn't have worry anymore. *facepalm* Seriously dude, THINK.

he is the one of the worst players in survivor history. he had all of that information and he still blew it. i agree they blindsided him - he should have written grant's name down. i'm now rooting for whoever is battling against matt!

how about phillip with his 15 minute soliloquy on the samurais. reminds me of coach!

his 22 minute garble at the challenge on redemption island was classic lol

Matt...dumbest move ever...not only that I think his bff on the island Andrea voted against him.

well Rob's ditzy tribe has to know they don't stand a chance w/out Rob at this point of the game b/c they won't have the numbers. If they turn now they will be the next to go as the remaining other tribe will keep their own..basically use Rob's alliance then vote him out then drop them. Their best bet is getting the other tribe out for the most part then turning on their own tribe once they can come up with the numbers. (I know they are 1 tribe..but they are still visibly separated)

Because that would have required them to actually think when we all know they're perfectly content to let Rob run the show so they can continue working on their tans. That tribe loves Rob. I don't see them coming to their senses anytime soon. And when they do I'm sure one of them will tell Rob so he'll know to use the immunity idol anyway. LOL!

Funniest thing ever...Rob making up the name of the new tribe.

Poor Matt...I think he's just too trusting and although he's still there he hasn't really had to "play" the game socially/strategically etc. being stuck on redemption island..but yeah..telling Rob...dumb move.

I have loved this season! Some of the very best tribal councils ever! I'm a Rob fan though, so that is partly why I love it. HEEEElarious about naming the tribe after Amber's stuffed animal! OMG!! We had to rewind that and watch it again! LOL I would have LOVED to see Julie's face while she was watching the show last night. HA!

I'm hoping the next one to RI is Mike and he kicks Matt's butt. At first I felt sorry for Matt last night, but he made his own bed with his stupidity. I'm done with him and hope he goes permanently next week.
