Default I don't know

Since I have been scrapbooking I've had lots of phases....layouts, cards, minibooks, but now I have been digiscrapping for a few months in a row without even thinking of making cards. I love the fact that I am dealing with photos again.

When I see all my stuff I bought when I was still paper scrapping I doubt....do I put it away? Sell it? Or keep it?

How did you do it when you transferred from paper scrapping to digiscrapping? All I need is a computer with PSE and SSD!

No serious, I am afraid this is another phase of mine, although I love doing this....

scrapping digitall does not mean you need to get rid of your paper supplies. Just use the stuff you buy from SSD and the supplies you already have together to create hybrid stuff

Well, I made the switch to digi about 6 and a half years ago. I had so much invested in paper scrapping supplies and I have never been able to bring myself to get rid of it all. I may have to soon though because I need to get my extra room back so each of my boys will have a bedroom! It is hard though because I am not sure who would actually buy it and it is a lot to donate.

I started digi-scrapping a few years ago and have struggled with the same thing. So far, I haven't gotten rid of any of my paper supplies. I haven't used them, though, so I may let go soon. I keep thinking that I'll use them to make cards.

I switched to digi in 2006 after being a *serious* paper scrapper. I had a whole room of stuff. Since I worked for manufacturers and magazines, I had shelves and shelves of papers, and drawer after drawer of embellishments.

I didn't do a thing with any of it until around 2008 when I sold some stuff at a garage sale (not a ton... just stuff that I knew for sure I'd never use again). I made about $500.

Then a short time later, I went through it again and gave some more stuff to friends who I thought could use it.

THEN when I decided to move out of state last year, I really didn't want to take it all with me being as I really hadn't touched it in months/years. So, at that point I gave it all away to friends. I probably could've sold it, but so much of it was dated (2006) and honestly, I just didn't want to deal with the hassle.

It was nice to have them around for the occasional card, hybrid project, or kids' school project. But I didn't use them enough to justify hauling a whole room worth of stuff to another state with me.

I, too, am having a hard time letting go of the paper world - where the thought of doing a paper layout makes me physically sick... . Mostly the sick part is thinking how much money is sitting there and so much of it unused... but have no desire to ever use it again... So I have been s-l-o-w-l-y going through my things and pulling out things that I can use hybrid and the others are going into a pile to either sell at a rummage sale (which I seriously need to do) or just donate charities.

I still have my paper supplies. I keep ribbon, bling and some other 'sundry' type things on hand. THe paper I have is over a year old since before I started digital. I used it for the occasional hybrid project, but I'm not spending lots of $$ on it!

I got rid of my stamps... sold them off in lots for super cheap... and sold all my ink pads, embossing powders and glitter which I totally regret now that I'm doing hybrid... don't miss the stamps tho, since I like digital stamps better 'cause you can't resize a rubber or acrylic stamp, LOL. Plus, coloring digi is WAY cheaper than copic markers, LOL.
