Thanks Juli - I was thinking of printing it out flat and dressing it up afterwards. I'm guessing you would still shadow the piece though as you would a layout.

I'm just so sick of paying $4-$7 for a decent card these days when it isn't that hard to make my own

YES! Exactly!

I used some of Cindy's templates to make cards for Mother's Day and teacher appreciation. I wanted the recipients to be able to mail them at regular postage, so I filled in the card as I would a normal layout, printed them at home, and adhered them to the front of a folded note card (her templates are 5x7, so I did resize them to fit the note cards). Then, I added just a little something to the front. A few elements with pop dots on one, tied ribbon to another, and some stickles (glitter) to two of them. I thought they turned out really cute, and I figure I will use them for myself in the future!
