I'm thinking of buying a binding tool so that I can make my own albums, notebooks, etc. But I'm a little confused about the different systems, like Zutter or The Cinch. Any recommendations for an easy to use binding tool to make notebooks?

i have the zutter bind-it-all. i bought it when it first came out, and i love it. i make notebooks and planners for school each year. it's pretty easy to use, as long as you read the directions. (:
i think the cinch has different binding wires? like, i think it's got those coiled ones, whereas the BIA has the kind with "fingers". |

I LOVE my cinch!!!! It has plastic or wire. Love it though. Easier then the Bind It All to punch holes and bind. Thats my opinion though!

I think there was a previous thread on with a comparison. I have a Bind it All - and love it, but if I were to buy again, I would buy a Cinch. The alignment looks easier, closing the coils and just the apparent ease of use. Go to YouTube and search the videos. Good luck! I love being able to do binding.

I have the bind it all also and really like it, but I've never seen or used the cinch, so I have no clue if that one is better or not. I love taking chipboard coasters and turning them into albums! I haven't tried any larger projects that require extra alignment steps...that seems harder than just one little short row of holes.
