You know you take a lot of photos...
when the counter on your camera starts over
 When I pull my photos off my camera, I copy them onto my EHD by month and then just numbered as they are in my camera..that keeps it easier for me when I import them into lightroom. Today I went to import some and couldn't figure out why they were all out of order..until I realized that my camera had reset over to IMG_0001..b/c I had maxed out at 10,000!! lol That's an average of 2500 photos a year or 208 photos a month!! Um...it's a good thing I don't worry too much about getting behind in my scrapping

Mine reset last fall, after I only had the camera since that spring! Whoops!!! Mine number the same way (canon, I'm assuming
 ) so I took over 9999 photos in like 8 months!!! Right now I'm at 4108 so I'll reset about fall again this year! lol, so I guess I take 10000 pics a year!

Whoa. Congrats?
Doesn't that milestone mean it is time for a new camera? I am at 9022 for the second time. But I also sent it in a few months after I got it and they reset the counter. It was at 5714 before. So that should be a total of 24735 pictures. Maybe that explains why my camera is starting to act up. I got my Canon XTi in December 2007.

Oh... I can SOOOO relate. I take way too many photos and photos of everything. I figure if I take several then perhaps I will get at least one or two good ones. I can always delete the bad ones.
Yep.... I will NEVER be caught up on my scrappin...lol...

wow and I thought I took a lot of photos....I'm not even close to some of you ladies!! I got my Rebel in Aug of 2007 and I am just now at 9300!!
You ladies are some picture taken fools!!!

I got my camera in 2007 and I know it's already rolled over once..maybe twice. So maybe I calculated wrong...in any case it's a LOT of photos lol Glad I'm not the only one

I got my XTi in August 2007 and it rolled over in May 2009, I haven't used it since I got my 7D in early March though and I just checked and the last photo on my XTi was 6891 so almost 17k photos in less than 4 years!!
