Default If the designers could slow down on all of the cute kits

Ok. Really I don't want you to. But I'm struggling with what do I put in my cart? What do I put in my Wish List?

I'm yelling from the other room, "Do you think we'll ever take the boys in a canoe?" I know that I don't need actual canoe pictures to buy that kit but if I had actual canoe pictures then I might HAVE to buy that kit. KWIM?

Then there are the other kits where I just want the alphas. (Not that I'm some big alpha expert if you clearly look at ANY of my layouts).

That is all. Back to the Shoppe.

*Please tell me that someone else goes through these same struggles.*

I do. Every single week.

Like last week. With the teeth kits. When I thought "I need this for Zach's teeth!" Zach was 3 weeks old at the time. What teeth?

I do too. I wishlist everything unless I feel like i truly need it and will use it immediately. I clean out my wishlist a few times a year, whenever there is a big sale at ssd. I go through everything and see if I still want it badly first, and decide if its enough to get or just keep it wl'd. My stash has gotten a lot more usable since I started restraining myself a lot more.

This is exactly how I do it. I wishlist everything I think I'll use (the really outdoorsy ones really don't get on my list much because I simply know, no matter how cute, it probably won't get used). Then, every few weeks, if I see something I *have* to have (like the new Libby/Melissa kit), I'll buy it outright, especially if I have something to use it for (like if a swimming kit comes out the week I've had a pool party, and I haven't scrapped those pics yet).

Each major SSD sale, I pick out the most important kits that I really want. After that, I open all the kits I still REALLY love that I haven't bought in new tabs, clear my wish list, and re-add the ones that I really like (usually about 1/3 to 1/2 of the kits that were on there).

It keeps me from buying everything.

I still really really want to buy everything.

But. It's a lot more manageable if I don't...

oh, how I wish that I had the control that you guys have. I am a bit of an impulse buyer and I always feel like I NEED it right now!

It became easier to control when my budget went from tight to squeakytight every month. I have to truly only purchase what I need and love, not just what makes my heart go pitterpat at the time.

I used to just put everything I thought I might want in my cart then weed it out....somehow, each week, it never got weeded out, and I just used to buy everything
