Default ? 4 the photography experts

You probably already know that I am brand new to the world of DSLR and I must admit I'm still shooting in auto. Tried aperture a few times and it just looks funky. Anyway, I would love some opinions on this photo. Part of me really likes it, but part of me thinks it's just too dark and too far gone. Tell me how you would edit this, or if it's just crummy LOL.

Honestly, I think it's gorgeous! I can't really see anything I'd edit with the photo that small...it really does look fantastic.

First let me say I'm not an expert. However, I think this photo is beautiful. However, if you were wanting to bring out more of the color in the sky (kind of that golden yellow) you could adjust your levels a little to just lighten it a tad.

I'm no camera expert. lol I just use a pos--- but you can adjust the curves to bring in more light to the picture.. adjust the levels.. add some contrast.. etc. It's all just fiddle work to find what works.

Personally I think its gorgeous. If it were my photo I think all I'd do is a little sharpening and saturating of the sky to bring out the colors.

Thank you! I hadn't even thought about curves....I don't know what I'm doing with those. LOL
If only I could get the trees green. Oh well. I like weird stuff anyway
