my little one is sick tonight, so I'm going to bed early to try to catch as many zzz's as I can, because I know I'm going to be up half the night! I think we may even end up sleeping upright in the recliner tonight
 (she's got a cold and is in misery not being able to breath out of her nose)

I remember recliner-naps . . when my youngest was a newie, I think I slept in the recliner more than my own bed!! Hope your lil one is feeling better soon Kate xx

Hope she feels better fast...
I can totally tell it's football season. My husband is currently cursing at the tv and muttering about football. Go Sooners! Lol... I honestly could care less, but it makes my man happy.

Good job, Jennifer!
I've avoiding going to visit my friend. I know that sounds terrible, but I Just HATE to leave my house. I can think of a zillion things to do here, and I can't do anything except DRIVE for the 30 min. out there and the 45 minutes back because traffic will be awful. UGH. I wish I never had to leave my house.

I'm a homebody to an extent. I don't have a job, we have no children, and my husband works long hours. I spend a ton of time home alone. After a few days, I start getting depressed and way lonely. I know that one day I will appreciate the peace and quiet, but right now it just sucks.

Today was much better than yesterday. My husband and I went to the big city for an eye appointment. They dilated my eyes (totally trippy, btw) and I'm all set for another years worth of contacts. All in all, it was a great day... especially since I got some Marble Slab ice cream. Yum.

had a pretty darn good day myself!!! And tomorrow is going to be interesting, we find out whether my sister will have her lil foster baby for longer . . AND then Friday is my bubba's birthday!! Not that she's a baby anymore, she's actually going to be a big four year old IN JUST TWO MORE SLEEPS MUM!!!
