I get Meghan w/out the H all the time..i hate it and people in the south say "May" gan and it's MEG (as in peg) an (as in and w/out the D)
Neenee..I've said your name wrong for years..I've said Jen-Ay (like hay) in my head all this time

Meg, do you ever go by Meg for short? and I had Jeayne's name right, but I would have never spelled it like that if I met her in person

This drives me nuts, too! My name is Megann, pronounced the same way as yours. I grew up in the south and eventually resigned myself to being called "Maygan" when I told my friend it was Meg as in egg and she said "ayg."
