Reassure me: c-sections

I had an emergency c-section with my first daughter and recovered just fine. I had an elective c-section with my second daughter and it was fine too! I didn't use any pain killers at all because they made me sick at the time and they had me up and walking within 15 hours I think. I stayed in 3 days for both and for my second one had the staples out before I left!
