Default SERIOUSLY???????????

For those of you following my NIGHTMARE experience with the bunk beds the story just got worse! My beds shipped yesterday but get this, they shipped DHL AGAIN. So there is still NO end in sight to solving this problem. I am so frustrated beyong words that I actually cried 10 mins ago. I don't cry over furniture (and no I am not pregnant). I am just over the top with ANGER over a set of bunk beds that were suppose to be here 3 weeks ago.

If DHL doesn't deliver to your area, can you make arrangements with them to pick it up somewhat locally? We've had to do that before (not with DHL, but other companies).

Personally, I'd cancel the order.

Yikes - sorry, Jami! I may have missed the post, but would you share the name of this stellar company you ordered the beds from so that we all can be wary?

I ordered the beds through www.aafes.com and then they outsource to various vendors.

That is totally unacceptable since you have explained the situation to the store. WTH are they thinking? I'm sorry you have to go through all this hassle.

If I cancel the order I will still NOT have the bunk beds. And I will have to then pay more money and invest even more time into finding new beds. Key factors on why we picked these beds is the style, quality and color matching existing furniture in the room. I already got a 10% refund and after today I am expecting even more. We searched high and low for bunk beds in stores and online and these are the ones we love. I don't think I should have to settle for something else. These are the beds I want and the ones I paid for!

Call up the company you bought them from & go to the top. Ask to speak with the manager. The run around you are getting is RIDICULOUS! I would demand to speak with someone in charge and then blow up, lol!

I am SOOO not surprised to see that you ordered them from AAFES. This kind of thing is the norm for them. Unfortunately, living out of the country, they're the only people we can shop from (AAFES is who runs the military PXs)

I say ask to speak to a manager too. If you really don't want to cancel, I'd be all over their butts making them explain themselves and making sure they understand just how royally pissed you are for the endless runaround they've put you through.
