Anyone used GIMP?

Has anyone ever used the program GIMP. Someone suggested it is a free program that you can digiscrap with and I didn't know anything about it...

Yep--I do! And I own PSE, so that says something for it. Here's the thing: it has way more functionality than PSE (the eventual goal is to give it all the functionality of CS), but there aren't many tutorials out there for it, so the learning curve is pretty steep. And if you go to the help forums, it's just uber-nerds who only use it to make siggies of Keira Knightly. But having said that, I've made a few tutorials on my blog and would love to make more if anyone's interested. You can also PM me at anytime if you have questions. I'm all about converting people to open source!
