i know not everyone does Halloween. but we do! i decided that this year we are going to my dads house in the town i grew up in. its a very small town, safer and we can probably walk all around instead of getting in and out of the car. i hate doing that. last year we went to my MILs house in another town and its just so crowded. i'll feel a lot better in my small, safe hometown. and the weather is supposed to be nice so they may be able to get buy with just long sleeves (I hope). So, i need to get off of here, take a bath, get dressed cause i have a few things to do before we head to my Dad's house. i'm so excited. my brother is a volunteer fireman there and every halloween they have a parade where all the kids walk from the park to the fire station and then they judge their costumes for prizes. i can't wait! i think i'm more excited than the kids!

Today I'm scrapping and shopping (and trying to do laundry in between lol)

Tonight I'm taking Avery out to my parents and we're going to take him to a few houses trick or treating...we live out in the country so we have to drive from house to house...I'm driving and my mom will get out with him since I'm so huge lol...after that I'm thinking about spending the night at my mom's so I don't have to come home to a dark house alone on Halloween lol (I live WAY out in the country)...Avery will love spending the night with them since we haven't done that in about a year since moving back home...we may make Halloween cookies or something...then tomorrow my Daddy is going to babysit while my mom and I go shopping. Toys R Us is having a big sale this weekend and I'm going to try and get Avery's Santa taken care of.

Neither Jeff nor I are into Halloween, so we are rather relieved that his ex has Tyler this year! We took Tyler last Friday night to the YMCA for a Halloween activity night, and that was good enough since all he wanted to do was dress up and run around.

Maybe Jeff will have dinner made when I get home from work like he did last night (yeah!). Otherwise, we will just eat dinner & veg. Maybe we will start moving some things from my apartment since this is supposed to the big move weekend. I hate scary movies, so we won't be getting into the Halloween spirit that way, either.

I am baking brownies as we speak for Kaydan's teacher and her assistant. I am going to be helping in his class this afternoon for their little Halloweenie party. They are supposed to have a costume parade but Bub refuses to wear his costumes.. the kid has two this year because I ordered one online that I 'kinda' liked and then found one I just knew he'd really love at Costco.

Tonight .. I don't live in a conventional neighborhood so the residents all gather around our neighborhood's lake and the kiddies walk 'round and collect goodies. My mom is making soup and other yummies for us to eat while we are out there.

It's a busy day.. and I need to find time to scrap. I have one more week of freedom before I return to work, so I'm trying to live it up today and the rest of the week.

I team teach, so we do drop in conferences. The parents can come any time between those hours.

Since Halloween is on a weekend this year, I am taking my girls to my parents house and we are going to go out trick or treating with my mom, sister and her 3 boys. I hope to watch some sort of scary movie once the girls go to bed, but it all depends on what shows are on that my parents watch Friday nights.

nothing...cleaned all day yesterday and my kids are in school. my daughter has to work tonight. My son is going trick-or-treating with my husband and my other son is staying at his grandparents. I will be home all alone. I might tag along trick-or-treating but not sure yet. I just really hate trick-or-treating. Id ather just do a halloween party

We are going Trick or Treating tonight...My sister is going to be home from Indianapolis. So Landen, Violet and Wills will all get to go together which also means some GREAT photo ops. I'm so excited. This is the first year they are all going to get to be in the same place for Halloween.
The assisted living center I work at is having a Halloween party tomorrow and I'm really excited about that too!

Right now, I just finished up a bit of work, and I have skating from 3-5. Tony is going to feed the mobsters while I'm gone, so I can take them TorTing when I get home. We usually get around 200 kids here for Halloween, so we'll be busy.

I'm also going to do some tidying in between everything else, so tomorrow I can feel free to lie down and do NOTHING all day, only shop! LOL!

Both of my girls have halloween parties at their schools. I am going to help out at Corinne's. I am also going to get a bit of scrapping done, and get ready for our Halloween Party tonight. We are having some friends & family over for dinner, then my parents hand out candy while we go trick-or-treating.

Working until 5.. meeting my parents and the kids at the mall at 5:30.. Jeff will come about then, and I assume also my brother/his wife and my niece. We'll eat at the mall and then trick or treat. We usually only do one level of the mall cuz it gets so crowded.... then home and I'll be in chat!!

Work right now and then buzz home get changed into warm clothes, make something quick for dinner and head out trick or treating from 6-8. Then I hope to get in a few CT pages for tomorrow!

We don't celebrate at all. We were going to take the kids to the city to watch a movie at the cheap theaters, but they both got sick. Grrr. LOL! So I guess I'll just hang out at home and turn off the porch light (we rarely get trick-or-treaters anyway).

Mason is home from school today because it's Halloween and everything is about that today there (grade 1, lol), so yeah. I am trying to finish up a bunch of stuff for tomorrow's new products and DSD stuff...ahhh, I'm going CRAZY!

Right now, scrapping and cleaning (maybe more scrapping than cleaning). In a few I will be running to town to do some errands. Then we will be going up to my sister's house and all eating dinner there (some homemade gumbo and potato soup my mom made) and then getting everyone ready to go TorT. Then we will be off TorTing!!

Right now the kids are at school at some sort of dress up party that may or may not be a Halloween party depending on what grade you are in, even though they are all attending the same school wide events. Not really sure what is actually happening with that.

We're still deciding what to do about ToT. We're rural, so we don't do door to door. The county we live in sponsors a Trunk or Treat at the high school, but there is a home game tonight so they moved it and any regular ToT to tomorrow. But the neighboring county is celebrating tonight. They have actual neighborhoods to go door to door in & a couple of the churches do trunk or treat and the main street stores give out candy. So we're debating whether to go to the Methodist or Baptist church tonight or wait and go to the high school tomorrow night.

we're not doing both. Though I feel kinda mean about it. If I were a kid I'd be jumping up and down for joy at 2 nights of trick or treating!

I worked til noon, then went out for lunch with the boss and another guy who came down from one of the company's branches, in Edmonton, to help do inventory (since I can't operate the forklift or know one part from the others). It was a nice treat, since normally when Brian is down, I am heading home at noon as my work is all done. Today I stayed a little extra after lunch though, since our warehouse guy is gone til next weekend.

Tonight, I will feed the kids an early dinner (although if Quin keeps eating pumpkin seeds, he may not want dinner. lol) and then we are going T&T'ing with our neighbours and probably a few other people. We always go in a big group. Cody wants to go with his friends, but I am sooo not sure I want a bunch of 13-15 years old boys running lose, with him. Not like he has much freedom, he has to babysit tonight at 9. lol

We never do anything for the holiday. I'm watching an all day marathon of Ghost Hunters and I'm going to watch their 7 hour LIVE show from Fort Delaware in Delaware City. They've been there before and I watched the show from that time. Let me tell ya, it gave you the shivers; the footage was SCARY and I can't wait to see tonight's show
Oh, and I'll be in chat too while watching that, hehe.

i work for another 30 mins or so and then i'm gonna go home figure out some dinner, light the jack o lanters, get the kiddies dressed and walk around our neighborhood. should be fun! today they kids are with me at work and they have been watching halloween shows.
