I can't scrap backwards

for me scrapping backwards means starting with photo and then finding kit/papers/elements. This is NOT working for me, arrrgh. Usually I start with kit or whatever and then find a photo to go with. I'm trying to make my calendar. I am really going to try to finish tonight ha ha ha. I only have like 5 months to go . . . or was it 6

I tried to make my siggy as fancy as possible without opening up Photoshop. This was the best that I could do.
