remember how i had frozen pipes?

yah, one busted in the bathroom this morning. we had space heaters going but we shut them off at one point at night cause we kept blowing circuits, lol. had 4 of them on. so i woke up to a tub full of water and water on the floor and it leaking out the bottom of the handle that turns the water on. i ran and yelled at Chad to get up and hurried to shut off the main. the closet in the playroom is a plywood wall that comes off to gain access to the tub pipes. yep. big hole in one. then, on the floor, is a an access hole to the crawlspace. lifted the lid and my crawlspace is flooded. atleast a foot probably more of water in there. so we called the same people that fixed our furnace. they do plumbing too. they will take a post dated check and are supposed to get back with us on when they can come out and fix that. so i still have no freaking water. we went to my BIL apartment for baths this morning. tomorrow morning is Emma's surgury. i have a dishwasher full of dirty dishes, my washer is full of wet towels used to sop up the water on the bathroom floor, and i have several loads of laundry to do. have no idea what i'm wearing tomorrow, lol. dirty clothes probably. oh well. we'll get it fixed within the next day or two. it won't kill me. i'm so sad though. all this right before christmas. i think God is punishing me for something, lol. its just so frustrating. i'm gonna lose my mind!

i thought we were okay too; last night the kitchen faucet started to drip so i was like "woo hoo!" then i wake up to the mess in the bathroom. again, i hate this house. but we're stuck. i'll like it better with we get more remodeling done. especially our bedroom. we have no privacy now. when we're done with our new room, we'll have a door!!! soon as spring is here we're startin' the remodel! yay!

Awww, that sucks! My neighbor and I have been dealing with this for a couple weeks ago, and I think *finally* it's solved, lol. I was watching her place when her furnace went out and then subsequently froze her pipes...

Oh man! What a pain... I'm sorry hon! Sounds like you're keeping a pretty good attitude about it though. Thank goodness you have such easy access to the pipes though. At least you don't have to bust a whole in the wall and then have to fix that too. Keep your chin up!

Sorry Corey! I can feel your pain. I hope you get it taken care of soon! As of right now, I have no water. Our pipes froze too. They froze yesterday morning and it isn't going to warm up here until Wednesday. So it really sucks. I will be going to my sis's for showers etc tomorrow. I actually bought gallon jugs of water just so we can flush the toilets. Ugh... Just crappy timing.
