Question about Heather Roselli - Party On Kit

I bought the Party On kit awhile back and I'm having a problem with the Build A Cupcake part. I can't get the papers to work as a clipping mask with the bottom of the cupcake. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm having the same problem... When I put the paper down for the cupcake holder, it doesnt look like a cup cake holder lol...

I left a note on the layer of the "ridges" to use it on multiply or screen depending on the paper you put over the bottom cupcake. So after you clip the papers to the cup, change the Blend Mode of the ridges layer to either -

Multiply blend mode set to a lower opacity (start around 25%)
or use the Screen blend mode (you might even want to duplicate that screened layer for the effect you want)

I can't even get the papers to clip to the cupcake layer? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Which program are you using? Some programs don't have clipping masks at all and there's a totally different method for making the papers fit the templates.

I use Elements 6. I can ALT+Click and clip to the tops of the cupcakes but not the bottom.
The layer is listed as a folder and I can't get it to open

Mandy and others - I'm sorry I didn't see these other responses earlier. But Mandy PMed me today about the cupcake and it turns out that PSE doesn't allow the use the folders (multiple layers grouped together). So, what I did is ungroup the two cupcake layers and Mandy says it worked! So, I'm about to change the file in the DL at the store, but if you are having this problem and need the new file, please PM me. Thanks! and sorry for the trouble I caused!

I PM'ed you Heather! I noticed the problem in Sept when I was working on DS birthday pics, but somehow my picture files got all screwed up and I got frustrated and just quit working on them, so I haven't gone back to the cupcakes yet...
