I have troubles getting it to stand out sometimes. It just blends in too much and is hard to see. Is there any tricks to this?

In Traci's original set there is a layer style that gives the perfect shadow. I think there was also a tutorial on the Girl Talk blog or Dani's blog with some settings.

I've always just changed my blending mode to color burn and lowered my settings a bit. works fine (and I just clicked the link above and realized that's basically Dani's method too...)

Alrighty thanks! Will have to try that. I figured it was just my shadowing.

Just be careful with the color burn mode. It doesn't work that well on light colored portions of bg's. If it doesn't you can try the multiple or darken modes and then lower the opacity.
