Default What files do you save?

So I'm trying to clean up my files and ultimately my hard-drive. I have way too much crap on it that I really don't need, and I want to know what you ladies do with your layout files.

When I finish a layout, I save the final PSD file, and store it in a file folder named the ever so unique "PSD Files". Then I save it in full resolution and put it in a file named (can you guess??) "Full Sizes". I save them for printing and when its printed, its deleted from the folder. I also save a web version for uploading.

I've come to realize that I ever lost my scrapbooks, I at least have my PSD files backed up, but what a PITA it would be to have to go into them and reflatten & resave them to jpgs (because I've deleted the full size when it was initially printed). So today, I went through ALL of my PSD files, and saved all the ones I would want to reprint if something should ever happen to my books. That took about 2 hours. Now the file called "Full Sizes" has all my jpgs in it, as well as a file called "To Be Printed". I know, I'm an awesome file namer, lol! Anyways, the plan is that once the layout gets printed, I'll simply c&p it into the other folder and be done with it. As for the layered files, I'm burning them all to DVD's and filing them in with our other back-up disks.

So, am I over-doing it? What do you ladies save??

I save layered TIFFs, flattened 300dpi JPGs, and 72 dpi JPGs. When I move them to DVD, I get rid of the 72dpi version and keep the TIFF and full size JPG.

I save a full res option always. I save a fully layered .tiff (converting to tiff from .psd saves a TON of room -make sure to choose lzw and zip in the saving steps), which is deleted as soon as I print the layout. I have a to be printed folder (have to resize for my printer) and they are deleted immediately after printing), and then my webshots which I keep all of because they take up so little space.

I save the JPEG and PSD in their own folders.

I save the PSD in the same folder as the JPEG (both full size and web size), by designer (since I normally only scrap with my CT stuffs). Every couple of months, I back up all those to DVD and then delete them off my HD.

PEOPLE... start saving TIFF instead of PSD!! They can be like HALF the size!

I save the TIFF file and I only save full size when I go to print. After I upload my LOs to my galleries, I delete the web size. No use in keeping it.

I save the PSD, a full sized Jpeg and a web sized Jpeg UNTIL I back up. Once I back up and make sure the disk works then I delete the PSD and move the web size Jpeg to a folder titled "2009 jpegs". I keep the full sized Jpeg until it's printed and in my hands and it is "correct"...if it is correct I them delete the full size Jpeg.

I keep web sized Jpegs on my computer for 2 years (like I only have 2008 and 2009's on my HD right now) and at the end of that 2 years I copy the whole folder again to CD (usually with my first batch of saved PSD for the new year) and then I delete that folder off my HD.

It works for me!!

I save them all in their own folder (psd, jpeg and web...I'll try the tiff Darcy) and then when I burn them to a DVD, I burn the web and the psd file.. I then delete the psd file from my computer. Then, I can print the jpeg whenever I have time to upload and send them off...or have a book made. I then delete the jpeg files after printing them, and just keep the web sized photos.

I save my PSD files until I print my LOs, then I dump them. To stay on top of things, I print monthly now. I always save the full sized JPGs just in case. I never save the web versions after I've uploaded to my galleries.
