Default one day..

this child will get consistent with his eating and gain 50lbs. and then I'll laugh looking back at all the struggles I've had with him (ok, maybe not lol). His little eating spurts are annoying though LOL... he's a total binger. He won't eat much of anything for weeks (and when I say not much, I mean it's a struggle to get him to eat like even half of ONE meal in an entire day) and then you have days like today.. where it's 10am and he's already eaten 4 breakfasts worth of food, and is whining and crying because I won't make him pasta and a turkey burger.. RIGHT NOW. *scratching head* crazy child.

oooh! I have a child like this! It's frustrating and I feel like I spend all day getting him food, cleaning up the mess, etc. But the day before I couldn't get him to eat hardly anything! I have wondered if maybe I just set the timer and tell him that once it goes off he can have something else to eat....but I just feel like he needs to eat since he didn't eat much the day before....lol!

my son is totally like that. He is so thin and doesnt eat a whole lot but then somedays he surprises me and will eat a huge meal. My other son is the opposite I have to completely watch what he eats because he eats and eats and doesnt ever seem to stop

We call our DD the "grazer". She will eat lightly all day long and is constantly looking for something to eat, but will not sit down and eat a "real" meal. Drives me...

But they say that some kids/people are like that and she will probably always have a great metabolism and have the perfect body! LOL

He sounds a lot like Luca! Sophia has been a good eater for awhile now, but in the past two weeks has really cut back on what she has been eating and I am getting a tad concerned....

My frustration is from wanting food all the time. L.J. had a plate of pancakes and sausage this morning and then immediately wanted a snack...seriously it's like this EVERY DAY!!!! That's why we started the snack bowl which holds a few snacks that he knows have to last all day....when they're gone...that's it.

When he's a teenager he's going to have to get a job to support his food intake.

I'm sorry, La. I know how that feels. *hugs*

Tyler will only eat grilled meat, corn, sliced American cheese, pineapple, and/or bananas if we're having a meal at the house. I haven't ever even cooked him dinner; I make Jeff do it. He'll eat half a porkchop and 1/4 a serving of corn and 'be full'... only to whine 30 minutes later that he'd like a Rice Krispie treat, a bag of fruit snacks, etc.

I'm hoping that once he gets to be 8 or 9 and sees that other boys eat MUCH more than him and are better at sports than him because they get, like, nutrients 'n' things that he'll begin eating like a regular person.

I hear you La, I have one kid that eats us out of house and home and the skinny one that won't eat anything and yep, yesterday ate 4 sausage links, 2 pancakes and something else that my mom told me (she took him out) for breakfast! Hopefully it's a quick phase!
