It was SO weird...I don't even know if I can describe it. I went to go check my mail and I hit send/receive in Outlook and it gave me some kind of weird message. So I thought, okay, I'll close and reopen. So I closed outlook, went to the start menu to reopen it and clicked and nothing happened. NOTHING I clicked on in the start menu would do anything. (wouldn't even highlight anything), just nothing. So I hit ctrl/alt/del and the screen turned an opaque black and gave me another weird message, something about security. I couldn't open explorer or my computer or anything to get to my files, yet the internet was working fine, I could surf and type stuff , etc. So I thought I would try to save the file I was working on and just reboot...it showed NONE of my work files on my C drive so at that point I was literally freaking cause I hadn't backed that up in a couple months (won't make THAT mistake again, especially for work related stuff!) but it reboot fine and everything has been fine since...okay well not quite. The first time I rebooted it, it worked for a minute or two, then I got the BSOD and it rebooted again and ran disk check and since THEN it's been fine. so does this sound familiar to anyone? I've never had an experience like that before. virus and spyware scans checked out fine, so do you guys think I should be worried?

well I'm always worried when my computer does something weird (my life is on this thing!!) but I also know computers are "delicate" things. So if all my virus stuff came up normal I'd chalk it up to computer PMS!!!

I'd be backing up and saving everything possible on the EHD right now if that happened to me!
