Default I'm ready to scrap again but now I have no mojo!!

Okay, so now that my babe is almost 4 weeks old, we're kind of getting used to things and I have a little more time to spend on the computer. And sadly, if I take a nap, I don't fall asleep so easily at night (LAME!).

So yeah, I'm finally ready to scrap again... but now that I haven't for so long, I'm having trouble getting back into it. Has anyone else been through this? How do I get it back? It's not like I'm lacking super cute pictures or anything. I've lost my mojo before, but this time it's different since I took a break on purpose.

This DEFINITELY happened to me when I had Madelyn. I came back and felt like I was starting all over again. I went into my stash of favorites and scraplifted a few layouts. The end result made me really happy. I feel so much better about my scrapping now and I've developed my own style.

I know how hard it is to get back into the swing of things Sarah...I have just taken a couple of days off to visit with my sister. I have started the same page over 4 times already this morning and nothing is working for me. I think I need new photos...that usually gets me back into it or browsing some galleries gets me inspired too.

I hope you find your mojo soon!

Yeah, what Laura said....even though I was only gone for 5 days on my vacation I felt the same way so I lifted a really old layout of my own and it was a great help!!

Do the latest spin-a-lift, or lift the treat of the month! Even if you're not interested in the challenges since you've got the new baby, they're a great source of inspiration.

This is exactly what happened to me when I had first gotten pregnant with this baby. I just couldnt even fathom scrapping at one point. The thought of it made me physically nauseas. I think for me it was a matter of just giving myself time to miss it and then diving it. I didnt recommit right away in case I wasn't really there yet but once I started I couldnt stop and now im a full fledged addict LOL Big hugs honey, this too shall pass!

Oh yeah. This happened when I went back to work Full-Time. First, I had no time and then I had no creative juices left.

What happened was I found a challenge that spoke to me. It was a Spin-A-Lift that did it. I had something to scraplift, but I had to put my own twist on it, so it got that mojo going again. But don't force it. Just let it happen.

I was the same way after my last baby!! I actually started the challenge here the month after he was born and I think that really helped me!!! I really love the concept of the spin a lift...that is my go to way to scrap when ever I feel in a rut!!! Hope you get it back soon Sarah!!!

Mine isn't lack of mojo as much as it is being so tired at the end of the day, I can't get anything to work. I "see" it in my head, I just can't get it to work.

HUGS! It'll definitely come back. Try some templates or lifts to start out.

definitely has happened to me! I took a break earlier this year because I just couldn't get into it. Didn't want to sit at the computer for it and I would just stare at stuff and not get anything done.

Just start slowly. Break out a template or go to a faves gallery and do a lift. It might come back to you from there. GL!!!

This happens every winter to me I think. I scrap fewer layouts during that time for some reason. Cant even get really inspired by the challenges or lifting someone. I usually try to get a really cute new kit or start taking a whole bunch of pictures and something usually clicks so that I can make some layouts.

Oh yeah this def happened with me with the 2nd one! I knew I LOVED digiscrapping before he came along, but for the life of me I was so not inspired. I look back at those first few pages back and am like "ick" but hey at least they got me back on the road to recovery. Those are the only pages I do want to redo. Part of it is just the Mommy brain trying to recover!
