Default I need help!

Sooo...since I was pregnant etc. while DH has been gone, I wasn't able to fix Ella a nursery..just too much involved to do on my own and since I knew she'd be in the room with me for the first few months anyway, we decided to wait for DH to get home and tackle it then.

Her room will be upstairs across the hall from DS's. I'm pretty much starting from scratch since right now all it has in it is some office stuff and boxes that still need to be unpacked from when we moved in a year and a half ago. lol. It WAS going to be an office until we got surprised with Little Miss. Anyway, I've been thinking and browsing and trying to get ideas of what I want and I've got nothing. I need help. I don't want pink..or at least not a pink room..maybe pink as an accent color...I don't want frilly, but I do like traditional more than say contemporary. We're buying her a new crib b/c I want one of the new 3 in 1's that convert to toddler and then full size. The room is a pale yellow right now and I don't like that but I have no idea what color I want it. I have no ideas...Help me! lol

That's the problem...I have looked at HUNDREDS of bedding sets and I just can't find anything that I totally LOVE. I'm drawn toward toile, but I can't find a set that is just right. I don't want frilly ruffles and not a theme or any thing..I'm just at a loss and I've got to make some decisions, b/c when I get DH started on something he wants to "get er done" which means I've got to have paint color and stuff picked out ready to go. lol

Omg, that is SO bright and fun!!!

I adore the toile ones posted. I would go for the one with the green accent, but if they had it in pink that would cute too.

Oooh see this is helping lol..I knew y'all would all have good taste

Meghan - we don't have a set budget really..but not like thousands of dollars or anything lol. I'm thinking about 1000 for furniture including the crib and maybe 500 or so on accessories including bedding and window dressings. (we have 2 standard windows in that room. But that's not set in stone or anything...I've already told DH that this is my one and only chance to ever get to have the perfect baby girl room so he's okayed that lol.

ETA: I've already picked out a crib and it's 360 tax free from aafes so that leaves about 600 for furniture...not a huge room..I'm thinking all I want right now is just a chest of drawers. I have a gliderocker that will go in there already.

I love this one:
http://www.potterybarnkids.com/room/...rrmf/index.cfm

The artwork is gorgeous!

IF I were to ever have another I think I would buy from Pottery Barn since all their stuff matches and I could buy the coordinating quillt for an older child.

Oooh, I saw the most adorable nursery in the background of some baby pics on a photography website, but now I can't find it. This is kinda similar, though - it was black and white with pink accents.

That's pretty, Nikki! I also like the pink and black toile one. I found it much harder than I expected to do DD's room. Over the years I've seen so many girl sets I loved--where were they when I was finally in the market for one, LOL? Here's a bit of DD's nursery.
