Thumbs up quick glue question

so today at 4 i get to go to staples and pick up all my tote boxes i made for my dauthers b-day party its cupcake theme by the way!
and im soo anxious to make them
but i have one question they are being printed on cardstock
and i dont know what type of glue to use to hold them togather
theres going to be lots of candy in them!
i also used the pop corn boxes which will also have candy

can anyone help i need to know what kind of glue to buy from micheals!

I think I would use permanent double-sided sticky tape. Its strong and you can trim it neatly to fit the edges.

Sounds like a great project! ...we're going to need to see photos when you're done

I'm with Sara!! I'd go with "Red-line" tape or "Sticky Strip" (that's what Stampin' Up calls the stuff, but there are lots of different brands). Several brands have a red backing on it, which is why it's often called red-line tape.

You either need to have REALLY strong double sided tape (otherwise it tends to let go after an hour or so and peel apart) or use a wet glue for it. Hope that helps

Another vote for extra strength double stick tape. Don't use glue stick - it won't hold!!!

Don't forget to post some pictures with the totes and popcorn boxes - this sounds so cute!

Don't use hermafix dots or tabs...they won't hold! Speaking from experience as I tried to wrap a present with them one time...by the time I got to my friend's house...it had basically unwrapped itself! lol

Yes...the craft stores carry terrifically tacky tape (red backed)...it's great!

ok so i was at staples and found permante double sides roller glue its worked perfect! dont worry im going to take tons of pics but im not done yet lol!
