Default Nausea while on computer

Okay so, I go through these bouts where I get nauseous when I am on the computer. Does anyone else do this? It seems to come and go, like I will have a spell where it does it for weeks and then I won't have it again for another month or two.

I was thinking maybe it is a vision thing...I had eyes checked about 2 years ago. Maybe it's time for a check up.

Yes! If I'm on the computer for a long time I will get a little sick.

yes.. I actually just posted about this. I also get sick when playing certain video games too so I think mine has something to do with the way I process certain graphics.

I was playing my kids' Lego Star Wars on the Wii yesterday and got totally nauseous! It was the pod races chapter of the game. I went around that race course so many times - I'm getting a little sick right now just thinking about it. And, it took me several hours to feel good again. I don't get it from the computer that often, but it has happened. Try sitting farther back from your screen or adjusting the brightness. We don't want our NeeNee getting sick now do we?

Lydia if you read the booklets that come with the games it is the graphics which cause the nausea. When it happens to me I start sweating, feel really sick to my stomach, get really dizzy and my head sometimes hurts. I lay down and it can take an hour or two to pass. The weird thing is I can WATCH someone else play and be fine.

It totally sucks. And honestly, it seems as though it happens when I have a ton of stuff to do on the puter. So then it really angers me.

I bet I do need to sit back. I say this becuz my Dad gets on to me everytime he is around and sees me on the computer. He tells me to sit back. So, I must do that as habit or something.

Ugh... I can't watch anything that flashes like video games... I'll get really sick to my stomach and most times than not, it will trigger either a full blown migraine or an optical migraine.

I agree it's probably normal but you should get your eyes checked again anyway since it's been over a year. Eyesight is not something to take for granted or assume will always be there! I'm slightly more concerned that you have periods of time where this happens more then it doesn't for a while. Go get checked to be safe.
