Yes! I am okay. My oldest son got stuck in a hail storm and had his friend's windshield crash in on them. Both are okay. He is now home and feeling pretty lucky. No damage at our house. We were about 2 miles away from the tornado.

We have a house full though. We have added three people to our crew for the night due to storms.

Thanks for checking in! I am glad to hear you are okay too!

Glad to hear you are okay ... wow how scary!! Here's hoping that is all the bad weather you got!

Not only do I have my bff, Stacy, down that way ... but I have family in Tulsa and Muskogee ... I was keeping a real close watch on the weather. They are saying the severe storms should not give us what they gave you by the time they arrive here thank goodness...but my weather radio is by our bedside (here in KC).

Thanks! Just part of living in the midwest! It just wouldn't be May without a few tornadoes.

Everyone stay safe! Hopefully it will calm down for the evening so we can all get some rest and not be woken up by sirens and/or weather radios!

Glad to hear you are okay and your son is safe! I life in The Netherlands were the weather is pretty calm. The worst thing we have is wind storms. I can´t imagine living in an area where you have the poissibiliy of tornadoes or eathquakes It must be so scray esp. when your family is not home with you.

And good idea about the shopping+ you deserve it

I'm just south of KC, and we had our weather radio at the ready last night, too, but we mostly just got heavy rain and a few patches of loud thunder. The storm looks like it died down a LOT before hitting my hometown!
