Default Found a stray....pony?

My hubby and I were just driving along when I spotted a strange animal with a leash trailing behind it, but it looked a little strange to be a dog. DH pulled out his binoculars and saw that it was a miniature horse!!! Of all the critters to find wandering along a road, a mini horse is not at all what we expected. Since it already had a halter and a lead rope, I caught him while DH asked the people in nearby houses if they knew anyone who was missing a miniature horse. We eventually located the owners and walked the horse home! How bizarre! I'm glad it was a friendly pony and easy to catch!

Glad you found it's owners, poor little fella. We had a stray (full size) horse show up on our property about 6 months ago and we could never find the owner. The Sheriffs department kept him for a month then sent him through auction (he did get a home and not slaughtered, thank goodness).

I have had three goats show up on our property once. They were all really friendly. They eventually wandered back to their home but about a week later because they got out more then just that day the people had to sell the goats
