Default Movies

So if you all could go to a movie in the next week, what would you go to?

I commented about never being the one to pick the movie, so I gotta pick, 'cept there's nothing that stands out as being something I gotta go to right now and he won't go to a super girly movie. lol

I'd like to see Robin Hood, but...

*sigh*

we'll be seeing Marmaduke...not because I want to see it...but because Rachel has been going on and on about it since she saw the first commercial for it.

Probably Sex and the City 2 if it was me LOL. My daughter and I are going next week.

Maybe Letters to Juliet.

But I love chic flicks so that is just me. I will watch other movies but my favorites are drama or comedy

Awww maaaaaan, that's so disappointing! Ugh, they put all the sexy parts in the commercial, didn't they. Jerks. I'm SO NOT a JG girl, but holy mackeral he looks sexy in the commercials, lol.

I would DEF go see Robin Hood. That's something boys can easily enjoy, and you get to check out Russel Crowe. Win. Win.

I'm going to see Sex and the City 2 next weekend with my girlfriends. We're gonna get all glammed up and go out to dinner and drinks and then to the movie, just like we did for the first one.

FYI, Sex and the City 2 is like 2 1/2 hours long, and only ok. I loved the series and the first movie, but I wasn't impressed with this one.

I don't even like Russell Crowe, and I really really liked Robin Hood. I didn't feel like I was watching Russell Crowe at all - and that says a lot.

It's a different telling of the story - which was great for the most part, and not overly gorey. I really liked it.

I might go with this. Nice to know its a different way of telling it. Now it won't happen until 2 weeks though.

my son Jacob works in a movie theater and sees most of the movies. His fav (and my DH who went with him) was Prince of Persia. They said it was much better than Ironman 2. Jacob said his girlfriend liked Letters to Juliet and he thought it was okay. I was hoping The Killers would be good, but he says it's not. Bummer. We all liked How to Train A Dragon. I'd see it again actually. None of us have seen Robin Hood because we love the Kevin Costner version and I've heard the new version isn't as good. Funny to hear, but Jacob says Sex In the City 2 really draws in an interesting crowd. I guess lots of groups of women see it together and bring alcohol in. They've had to throw women out for being too loud and stupid during SITC2. LOL I guess they are disappointed in the movie and start yelling at the screen.

I forgot to mention that my son is most excited about Karate Kid coming out next week. All the employees have to wear karate outfits and they are having karate demos all weekend in the lobby. LOL I'm not interested at all in seeing that movie. Seeing it in the 80s was enough.

Well I started watching it after it was off the air and was only playing in reruns late at night(Im an insomniac). I fell in love with it when the guy who plays Aidan was on LOL. So when Carrie ended up with Big I was rather annoyed with the storyline. It does not play anymore so I rented the first movie when it came out on DVD because I wanted to see what happened after the show stopped. Now from the preveiws Ive seen I really just want to see what happens between Carrie and Aidan.

Me either - just never did it for me - I think I saw one show - when she made fun of the lady with the scrunchie in her hair and she was from "the south" and that was it for me

LOL We're really excited about it, too. I think this one is going ot be better, plus we're a martial arts family now. Russ has his brown belt test in the morning, and then I think we're going to lunch and then to the movie LOL.

I love the Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood, Julie - really love it, and I still really liked the new Robin Hood. It's a different telling, but it's good. I don't know how to explain it.
