Default I need female dog name suggestions

We're putting a deposit down for a Springer Spaniel puppy, she won't be here until around the spring. It's the next litter, but we want a cool girl name.

I hate people names for animals. We're having hard time coming up with anything. I want to name her Sugar, Sean isn't super fond of that. Keira wants to name her Hiccup, LOL! I don't think that suits a girl.

Please help us!

Some names I like are
Abby (sorry mom's with abby's)
Cupcake
Cutiepie
Miss Priss
Pebbles
Daisy
Tinkerbell
Princess
Oddball
(sense a theme?)

I'd wait and see what she looks like personally and maybe get a feel for her personality. I really wish we had named Piper something else. We had picked it out before we even got her. I wanted Chloe or Clover but ev1 else liked Piper lol...we call her Piper Chloe though so I kinda won

I agree with Meg. I'd wait to see what she looks like. But, I always loved the name Trixie for a girl.

Yes Pebbles is an awesome name (kinda partial since it is one of my cat's names). I also like Daisy....maybe Dixie or Trixie. When I was a kid we had a dog. Her name was Bitzy (or Bitsy). Well I could not say the name properly and it came out sounding like a not so nice word. Although still appropriate since she was a female dog LOL. So we changed her name to Mitsy.

I agree with everyone you gotta see the dog before you give a name. We got our dog from a litter and they were calling him Matt. So not a Matt, so we renamed him Spock (now his show name is Stepney's Enterprise, which is awesome too!)

I like the name Ruby for a girl dog. I know it is a "people" name -- but it seems to suit a dog just as well. But then again... I like people names for dogs. My goldendoodle is named Lola. I was gonna name her Ruby -- but she is a white/blonde color and Ruby just didn't fit her.

We used to have an English Cockerspaniel. Her 'official' name was Lady, but my mum didn't like it and named her Sherry

Thanks girls, I really loved the name Dixie, but my mom named her dog Dixie.

I put my deposit down just a few minutes ago! I'm so excited.

I love Sadie too... but the best dog I ever had was our old girl Brina (Bree-na, kinda short for Sabrina, though we never called her that!) Exciting!

My little girl is named Maisie. She's a little white puffball Coton de Tulear. The name suits her. I'll have to do a layout. I agree with those who said wait until you meet her and see what fits her personality.

My cat's name is Pebbles, and it took us forever to come up with that!

I would love a dog, but DH HATES dogs, so we'll never have one.

I love my dad's names for his dogs...boy and girl...Cassie (short for Cassieopeia [sp?]) and Orion.

Otherwise...I like silly names like Hiccup...that's adorable. Nathan had a stuffed horse named Racoon and while it made no sense it was perfect. Naomi has a buildabear Unicorn she named Pony LOL

I love Chloe... name of the best cat I ever had. My cats now how italian word names. Baci ~ Kisses, Dolce ~ Sweet (although I think that might be spanish), and then we have a tuxedo cat we named domino. All are girl kitties. I had another cat named Abby... that is what we called her, her real name was Abby Something... from my fav Mel Brooks movie.

My best bud has pets that she named after liquors or cocktials... scotch, Kalauha (called her Kay)..Gimlet...

Good Luck.
