Default Martha Stewart Craft Punch

I have always loved hybrid postcards and recently I have been under a 'spam' of Adriana when she sent me her creations

However, recent Andrea's post:
https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/blog/?p=4462

was the final kick for me to buy punches.

Lucky for me (and unlucky for my PayPal) I found several auctions on ebay.com and when I compared the prices with the regular ones, I think these were really good...

Can't wait until they arrive... Hurray!

Good luck with them! If they arrive about the time as I do, we could have some fun together. :-)

BTW thanks to Andrea for the blog post. I have already known about what border punches were for, but I think it was an excellent introduction for anyone new to them. *thumbs up*

Feel free to. I'd like to feel like it's normal. I don't have that many punches, but I have a whole room worth of crafts stuff, and by whole room I mean a whole room. :-)

I thinkborder punches are the one thing I don't actually own and I too have a whole room of craft stuff. I love the look of them, but they just aren't cost effective for me. I'm pretty sure that I can do a lot of the same thing with my Silhouette and I plan on finding out about that this weekend since DF has a working weekend in the UK and I have a whole weekend to myself. First things first, I'm cleaning, sorting and purging in my craft room today. What a chore that is going to be.

Have fun with your new puches Zora. Can't wait to see what you create with them and hopefully they will be there in time for Arianka's visit.

Add me to th border punch addict group! I have a bunch of the new style, and several old school ones. Border punches have come a long way; you used to have to pop the corner guides out of your corner punches and then punch upside down so you could align them properly!

There are lots of border cutting files on the Silhouette shopping site. I admit that I have a Craft Robo but I still enjoy that using punches is so instant plus I can use up scraps which I can't very well through my Craft Robo.

I only have four border punches (oops, just remembered, make that five) but the one I used over and over again is the Apron Lace punch by Fiskars. Very pretty. For boyish things I use the Upper Crest one (looks like little bracket edges all lined up) and for a more shabby chic/vintage look I like the Fleur de lys one by Martha.

I knew there were some borders for the Silhouette, but I don't use it as often as I should or would even like to because Vista hates the software so getting into my library just sucks.

Since I plan pretty much every thing I work on in advance I rarely have the instant gratification anyway, so I don't mind waiting for the Silhouette and I've gotten pretty good at using scrap with it, too. So we'll see how it goes this weekend. I still have a good 2-3 hours of work left to do in my craft room tomorrow morning (got sidetracked at a friends house for a couple of hours), but since I have to get up at 5:30 to call and wake DF up for work in the morning I figure I'll get an early start on that and still have plenty of crafting time.
