Default Pandora or Zable bracelets?

Anyone have a Pandora-style bracelet? I was thinking of my Christmas list and thought that might be fun to ask for so my husband can give me fun beads on gift-giving occasions. But I don't know anyone that actually has one so I wanted to know if they are nice and quality? And I'd love to see pictures if any of you have a bracelet! Pandora is a bit pricey for me, so any cheaper brands recommendations would be awesome.

I started my mom a Pandora bracelet a couple of Mother's Days ago. They are nice and the quality is great - they aren't cheap $$$! I love that she can interchange the color beads with the gold and silver beads to make a bracelet that matches her mood. We (my family and I) were strategic about what we bought for her. Over the last two years we've given her beads for all sorts of occassions but we've kept most of them silver and then we went for blue glass and then black glass so that she could truly build a bracelet.

My mom bought me the bracelet and a few beads for my birthday. Her hopes were that my kids and my DH (and her) would buy me sentimental beads but my DH thinks it's stupid...so it's going to be awhile before I fill my bracelet.

I also love that you can wear 3-5 beads on a string for a necklace. See if you can get a Pandora book so you can check off the beads you get and the ones you want.

I have a Pandora necklace with a few beads on and I've also added some cheaper beads from a different manufacturer (until I can build up my Pandora beads) and no-one can tell the difference

I've not heard of the other type that you mentioned so perhaps we don't get them over here

Personally, I love Pandora and the quality is amazing. They are (or can be) very expensive though. A friend of mine has 3 that are completely fillied, and they are at least several thousand dollars a piece. I can't justify spending that much on anything unless it's a car!

I work at a store called Brighton. Their charms are getting SO popular. I have a few bracelets made with them, and it's possible to completely fill a bracelet for a few hundred dollars.

We just got new beads and charms in last night. They'll be gone quickly. They are SO cute. There is at least a 1 year warranty on them too...meaning if they still sell it, I still will send it in for repair.

They are not sterling...they are a zinc base that is dipped in silver, painted and laquered. They are VERY popular now though, and we have ladies of all ages buying them (from very young all the way up)

Here is the site where you can "build your own".

If anyone has any questions at all about these, I'd be happy to answer any questions. I've been with the company for 4 years now and love the company and the product!
