Almost forgot to brag
Yesterday was Keira's 3 month oncology appointment.
We had a bit of a rough time getting through the blood draw, no tubes means she has to get poked, but she did pretty good, we went with the finger prick. She has gained 4 pounds and grown one inch. I thought that was amazing, seriously in 3 months that's a lot for a little one. Everything is all good. We go back in February for a 6 month ultrasound and appointment. 2010 has been a hard year for us in a lot of ways, but we have so much to be Thankful for. Including the amazing friends that I've made over the past 4 years of digital scrapping that were there for us during this whole ordeal. And, we donated $500 that Keira made at her bake sale she had back in September and I raised $300 through some mini photo shoots back in August, so $800 total. Felt good to teach her something like that and the money will go to the cancer floor and cancer center.
