Default Wii Games...

DH and I bought a Wii a couple years ago, but we rarely play it. Probably because we have no games for it, lol. We have Wii Sports (boring for the most part), some Arcade Games game (sort of fun, but a little boring), and Super Mario Brothers (fun, but I'm the only one who plays).

My DD is 3 and is always asking to play games, and I would love to get some use out of the Wii! What are some of your favorites for the family to play together? I spied a Wii Fit for kids... anyone have that? What about dance games?

We don't want any violent sort of games (not even the fun Lego ones), and we don't watch shows like Harry Potter, so those games are out for us. I'd like some really innocent game suggestions that are 3 year old appropriate, but still fun for DH and I to play with her.

Ideas? Favorites?

Just Dance for Kids?

What about Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon? I know there are some Dora games and JumpStart games. I have heard that Toy Story Mania is good. My boys want that one.

We have Wii Party and it is fun. It might be a little bit advanced for her.

Just Dance Kids is great...my DS who is 6 loves it. Toy Story Mania is another great one and they also have Toy Story 3. Another favorite in our house is the Super Mario Winter Games. He just got a new Super Mario but I can't think of the name.

Do they have a Sesame Street Wii game...

We have Toy Story Mania too and it's a lot of fun, even for adults.

My Ava is 4 and she has just started to really get into playing Wii. She loves to play the Dora Wii games (we have 3 of them!), and there is a Diego one as well. There is a also a Disney Princess one that she finished.

totally Just Dance!!!! I bought my oldest {17} Just Dance 2 and my 5 y/o absolutely LOVES it and plays it more than her sister!!! All they have to do is pick a song, hold the remote in their hand and dance!
this is what I want to get for Abby & Peyton

and actually have you taught her how to bowl? My littest ones would bowl all day long if they could! Boring to me, but fun for them! Abby has actually bowled a 225!!!

My favorite Wii game is Mario Kart. I play it with my kids and my husband. We have had it for every system we have owned since the Super Nintendo (we are totally a Nintendo family...never owned another system really). My boys have played Mario Kart since they were little...3 or 4 I think they started.

DS loves Mario Cart, Super Mario, Mario sports mix ... (are you seeing a theme here? LOL). We also love Raving Rabbids TV Party. SO MUCH FUN. I have a friend that got the newer version of this call Time traveler and wasn't a fan. She said the TV version is better.

I am going to look into those dance games. I bet he would love those!

Oh my daughter also loved Wario Ware for the gamecube. (you know you can get used gamecube games super cheap and play it on the wii?) It is like little mini games that are fun to play. I think we had a winnie the pooh/tigger game for the gamecube as well

We just got Just Dance, Just Dance 2, Toy Story 3 and UDraw. My kids (6 & 9) love them and I enjoy them all as well. My niece was here over the weekend and she played all of them and had fun.

We recently bought the Carnival Mini Golf game and we love it! You can collect coins to buy fancy golf balls and clubs etc and you can unlock different themes... my 6yr old DD loves it.
