Default Favorite Darcy Font?

I need a little help. I'm finding myself using the same two Darcy Fonts over and over again......I use DJB Angel Baby and DJB Tia Print! I just can't help myself. They're awesome!!!

What are your faves?

Or...did you get your own handwriting made into a font? I would love to do this too!!!

Hook me up with some info

I have my own handwriting that I love of course. But I also love Gimme Space, and DJB Lisa S print, any of the DJB CoffeeShoppe fonts. And when I'm feeling a bit more crazy I love DJB tootsie wootsie.

I have my own handwriting font and I LOVE it. You should totally do one. It's so worth it.

Before I had my handwriting done, I used DJB Jenna a ton - it's a great font. Gimme Space is another fave of mine too.

I have so many and love them all! lol

I've been using the Callie/Zoe a lot lately and DJB Christine is one of my favs. I have my own custom fonts, but I honestly never use them. I just like the other ones better than my own.

Hey is the CoffeeShop set retired? I always that one, but can't find it now.

It's so hard to choose. I like a lot of the ones already mentioned: Squirrels In My Pants, Poppyseed, all the CoffeeShoppe ones. I also have a custom one that I love and use a lot. I just bought Darcy's newest--Carly Sue Got Married. I haven't used it quite yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Coffeeshop, Lemonhead (newer but a lot like Coffeeshop), Beanpole, Mrs Webster, Jenna, Gimme Space.

And, of course, DJB Mykiah. That's my daughter's handwriting so I tend to use it on layouts about her.

I find myself using Brittany script, Malea, Poppyseed, and Smartypants a LOT. Oh, and Gimme Space, SO glad I picked that one up. I'm gonna have to explore some of the suggestions here - I often get lost in Darcy's store admiring the great fonts to be had!

I love how many people like my writing! It just amazes me because honestly, I am not a huge fan of my own writing. I tend to use all the other fonts before I use mine. I only use mine when I am doing a specific sappy journaling to my kiddos or hubby. I love that I have it though. Darcy is awesome at doing those custom fonts! I loved the process of working with her and getting it PERFECT. She is really talented. I have a little crush on Darcy. Can you tell?

I love all the fonts mentioned. You really can't go wrong in Darcy's shoppe.

I have to say that while I *love* how my font turned out, I don't use it much because when I use it it feels too much like it's something I scribbled... and I prefer my journalling to have a more "pretty" feel in the sense of "font-like" pretty...

So while I like my handwriting, and it's perfect how Darcy translated it in a font, it doesn't look like a font to me, but rather like my handwriting (which was the point, I know)... so I only use it when I need that special authentic feel.

Not sure if that makes sense. :-)

I use DJB Karen on almost all of my son's LO's. Sometimes I use DJB Nicole on his. For mine LO's I tend to gravitate to DJB Gitte. I love DJB Woke Up Late for lables and dates. And I'm loving DJB Lemon Head for title work!

Yep, I recommend looking through the gallery too. I love Darcy's fonts, but I gravitate toward the easy-toead fonts for my journalling. Decorative and scripty fonts are great for short text and titles, but I'm thinkin' when I'm 80 I don't want to be struggling to read all the journalling on my pages.

My favourites lately are:

Christine C
Journal Bits font
Ashley Print
Carly Sue Got Married
Zoe
Miss Liz
Fill in the Blanks font (from Filling Out Paperwork font pack)
Annalise
AngieK
