Committed to running the Rock n Roll Half Marathon in San Antonio, TX on Nov 13th. My goal......to FINISH with the best that I have to give. This will be my first half marathon ever! I have only done a couple of 5K's in the past.

I'm excited and scared all at the same time!

That's awesome Neenee!! I've done the Rock n Roll Full Marathon in San Diego - it was a ton of fun - lots of differents bands to help cheer all the runners and walkers along! You'll have a blast!

That's awesome! You will do great!!! I am starting a running program here in my town this week called Beginner's Luck. I will be running a 5K at the end of the program in the last part of July. I'm not a runner, so this is a BIG deal for me! Committing to run it is one of the hardest parts I think!

You all should go check out this blog...BenDoesLife. He is coming to speak at the first session of our Beginner's Luck program this week. He is a great inspiration for people trying to start running and/or lose weight. He is going across the country this summer with his brother and dad on the Do Life tour and they are visiting 30 cities I think and are planning on running a 5k in each city. I thought it was kind of cool!
