prayers needed badly (ETA:Link to news article)
I really need all the prayers right now that you all can spare. My husband and son were in a car accident yesterday and my husband is in the hospital and my son did not make it. I dont have any idea what we are going to do and I am just a wreck right now. So please just say a prayer for my husband that he pulls through and just keep our whole family in your prayers. It feels like a bad dream that I will just wake up and find out everything will be ok. I had to go home last night because my husband is in ICU right now so I could not stay with him and I cannot sleep either. My husband is stable but needs the extra care because he broke his ribs badly and was not breathing well on his own. Other then the broken ribs/difficulty breathing though he was not injured.

thanks everyone. Visting hours are not until 10 so I have a little more time before I can go down there. The thing is he cant talk and Im not even sure he even knows we are there because they have him so heavily sedated. He has damage to his back from a previous accident so he was already constantly in pain and on pain meds for that so they had to give him more then most people because he had built up a tolerance over the last five years since the accident happened.
We had to drive right past the accident to get to the hospital. There were witnesses who stayed and told the troopers the guy was speeding and ran a red light. It was raining for awhile so the roads were really wet and Im guessing here but it sounds like the guy tried at the last minute to stop and couldnt because people said that he slid right through the intersection. My husband does not know any of this yet and I know it is going to completely devastate him. He and our son went everywhere together. I am just alternating right now between not wanting to believe it is real, crying and just feeling totally numb.
