Default I'm a sucker for...

...thematic kits. My fave themes are:

- Christmas
- music (anytime, anywhere)
- sea & beach
- art & painting & crafts
- travelling (even though I'm still waiting for trains to appear in them)
- Paris (oh well)
- wine

ETA:
- autumn
- coffee
- camping/forest

I think I have more music kits than I can ever use, but when I see one that I like, I take it anyhow.

What can't YOU resist? :-)

oh yes, cloud paper gets me every time!
Also cute characters: kids or animals, handdrawn cute stuff like toys, cars, a smiling sun, a cute tree...
unique color combinations (that match!) Jenn is a master in using unique, gorgeous color combinations for her kits!
Autumn kits. I just love the colors, I will go out for Autumn photos with my kids with certain kits already in mind (and make sure their clothes match!)

Autumn and Christmas kits.

Just can't help it, though we usually don't get much of a fall season here (with pretty fall colors and the likes), and usually Christmas isn't a season here either! So, I don't have much use for those kinds of kits, and yet, I love to collect them!

Kim, I love you matching up your kids with the kits!

But of course! Autumn! Forgot about it. And I forgot COFFEE-themed ones!

As for fave elements, I'm not sure if I can think of all... I love newsprint papers/elements, wood papers/elements, flowers (how predictable), leafage, photo corners, frames, pine cones, map papers, wooden fences, wheat.... and loads more I'm sure.

As for styles, I love anything urban or vintage. And I don't mind realistic flowers.

I'm a total sucker for school and beach kits... and I don't even live close to a beach!

Unique themed elements get me every time, too... I'm always thinking, how can I make that into an educational game for kiddo...

Oh man, I go through phases. Right now I'm really loving vintagey kits.

I'm also a sucker for travel kits in any form: modern, vintage, cutesy, etc. Which is hilarious since I hardly travel.

Also a sucker for summer and spring-themed kits. Oh, and fall--and we don't HAVE fall here!

Don't worry, we're all in this together. I've never been to Paris and yet I collect Paris kits, I live away from the sea and yet I collect anything sea/beach-themed, and as for the camping/forest ones - I never go camping, I just love the forest bits of them. :-)

I love beach kits and kits with bright, happy colors.

I talk myself out of themed kits easier than generic kits, though, because I think, "I've already got a birthday kit..."

Adriana, you have no idea. Seriously. It's an illness. If I see a preview with a lot of flowers I immediately need the kit.

That is baby kits. My son is 5 months old but I'll continue buying baby kits and justify it by saying I have the older two's baby photos that still need to be scrapped.

It's an illness I tell you!

Any Christmas or Autumn kit. I have more of those than I know what to do with. But in general I like theme kits too.

I LOVE travel kits. I don't think there are anywhere near enough around here.

Fun modern patterned papers are my other weakness.

I have to agree with patterned papers. I love them. I'm very much able to buy a kit based on papers only.

I love

Anything really colorful - the bolder and brighter the better.

Also .. anything to do with the sea as we live close by and do a lot of cliff walking

also doodle type elements

Not a great fan of flowers .. although I use them sometimes

Coffee, BOY kits, soccer kits, pool/water play kits... and this isn't a "theme," but I love kits with LOTS of purple. I mean GOBS of it. Or yellow/blue kits. I have about 10 yellow/blue kits, I think.

It's weird, because I love love looooovvvveee autumn, but I only buy one or two fall kits in a year.

About half of my kits are purchased based on an "OMG I love those papers" moment.

This makes Fee, La, Kristin, Zoe a huge chunk of my current kits.

Agreed. Fee, Penny, Susan & Zoe in my case. And Eva. And... now I think about it, there's not one designer I didn't fall into that trap with. :-)

And now I think about that, I'm a huge sucker for Darcy fonts as well. Oh well. Who isn't. :-)

... themed kits.
especially those with cutesy drawn clipart or people.

... kits with people in it. Like Lliella's or Kay's

... flat clipart- that I can blend into a page and make it look drawn on... same with wordart.
... brushes.
... kits with basics like brads, phototurns, photocorners, bookplates, (just not buttons)
... Multi colour basic papers - Dots, stripes or plaid in the full pallette
... Basic papers - this I am so desperate for that I am thinking of making my own polka dotted/ gingham/ candy stripe papers
