Default Help me decide

Okay, there are 18 billion and a half pumpkin/fall/halloween kits. I can't decide.

If I go with a Halloween kit, I could use it for patch and halloween, or I could get one for both, or I could just get a fall kit, or or or or or.

Forget it. I'm going to ask you YOUR favorite fall kits, and furthermore, what kit you would use for THESE photos:

I can't decide, or make up my mind, so you guys can do it for me.

If you were scrapping these photos (and of course, all of my other pumpkin patch photos for today), what kit would you use to scrap them?

Ahhhh! I knew someone was going to say that... Lol. Don't tempt me! I spent a fortune this weekend!

I want to get these scrapped soon, but you're right, waiting might be a good idea... (and it's not like I don't have a million and a half other things to scrap to keep me busy anyway).

Tell that to my family. They're trying to cram it all in NOW. We already have the patch pics from today, and they're talking about carving pumpkins next weekend already! I'm itching to scrap. Looks like I'll just have to set these aside and work on my other projects! Lol

Just ONE fall kit? Ha, ha. I love fall kits--they're usually in my favorite color schemes, and I can't resist them. So of course you need at least 1 fall kit and 1 Halloween kit, and if you can stop there, more power to you!

Are you dressing Zach up for Halloween? If so, do you know as what? I'd consider that when buying a Halloween kit.

I just scrapped some pumpkin carving pictures with Melissa and Susan's Fright Night-I love the papers in it!

We haven't gone to the pumpkin patch yet, but I might get Julie's new kit for it when we do.

The first picture you shared made me think of this Perfect Pair with Traci and Kristin Aagard.

I've used the character's from Lliella's Little Tricksters with lots of other Halloween kits, too.

I love the versatility of KCB's Bewitching for both Halloween and fall LOs.

I also love Melissa's Autumn Daze for both pumpkin patch and general fall LOs.

Have fun shopping!

Oh, Great, Rachel! Now I have to get all of those... Lol.

You ladies are right. I need more than one kit. I already knew I'd be pulling from a few kits-- one of the players from our favorite soccer teams was there, and Jeffrey got his autograph, so I need to pull some soccer elements over to that.

I'm thinking Zach is probably going to go as a Sporting KC player (he has a small soccer ball and everything), because I don't want to spend a ton of money on something he'll wear for about 20 minutes while we go say hi to the neighbors, then never wear again. At least a Sporting jersey he can wear until he outgrows... (and he already LOVES his soccer ball)!

I bought Zach a couple of Halloween shirts.

I looked at buying him a puppy dog costume or something (I don't have the time or energy to make one from scratch, and I've looked EVERYWHERE- no place has baby-sized sweats in coordinating tops and bottoms!) but costumes are ranging upwards of $20 in most places I look, and that seems like SO much money for just walking to 2-3 neighbors and saying hi.

But... I totally broke down and bought Halloween shirts. I'm convinced some will work all year. :P

I love this one. Fallish and Halloweenyish too, without being too cutsy.

That's a good idea! I did similar things for my kids' first Halloweens. Jason was only 3 weeks old, so I dressed him in a bat sweatshirt (with wings and ears) and black sweatpants that I figured he could at least wear around the house afterward. For Ben's first Halloween I wanted to coordinate with Jason's Bob the Builder costume, so Ben was Lofty (a blue construction crane) and I dressed him in a blue sleeper he already had then made little felt wheels that slipped around his wrists and ankles and a hook that I attached to an inexpensive hat. Lauren was the one I splurged on--she was almost 1 by the time of her first Halloween, and I knew that might be the only year I had total control over her costume, so I bought her an adorable princess dress. With me as her mother and 2 older brothers, I wasn't expecting her to be all that into girly stuff when she got older. (For the record, I was very wrong about that!)
