Pinterest week of 9/26

Well honestly, I'm starting this thread because I finally finished another Pinterest inspired project AND I really love seeing what inspires everyone else. (okay...the yummy recipes are pretty awesome too!)

So what are you making this week?

I was inspired by this owl ornament a few weeks ago


I created these paper versions using the same template by the Pinterest poster just made them a tad bit larger. Right now they are living in my entry way in a bowl...but I know my kids are plotting on stealing them for their rooms.

They turned out so cute!

This week I want to attempt apple pie for the first time, I don't like it so haven't bothered trying to make it before but Steve and the kids do so I'm going to make it for them -



I've also made some caramel shortbread -



And I'm going to buy some glass jars a bit like these and put all my baking stuff in them as I'm always spilling things in the cupboard when I try and reach them lol -



Edit 9/27 - I got 3 jars, they were a bit more expensive than I thought so I'll have to buy a few more next week

Those paper owls are TOO cute! My dd would love doing that. I forgot I use to make stuffed paper projects when I was little.

and I already have this grey in my bedroom {with a green accent wall} but have decided I want to make that accent wall turquoise so I am going to repaint it now that I really don't have any rok this week....

I need to do that too! I want to learn to sew and this would be a good way to practice straight lines!
