I got Kaylee (6) a big Rapunzel doll and Barbie Fashion Plates for her main gifts. She's getting a LeapFrog LeapPad from my MIL.

Nicholas only asked for small things this year, too, nothing big. So I figured he's 5, he could care less if he gets a present that cost a lot of money. Thus I might as well just get him the small things he wants and he will be quite happy.

Keira is 6, she's getting a DS lite as her big gift, but she really wanted a Lalaloopsy doll with the crazy bendable hair.

I wish I could be helpful but I don't get girly. LOL

How about her own ipod (or MP3)? OR maybe giftcards to like the movie theater and her favorite place to eat to have a "big girl" day with momma? (I am actually considering doing this with Landon because he always wants to "pay" when we do something)

That is all I can think of. If I think of anything else, I will let you know.

Ava is 5 and her big gift this year is a DSi. Art and craft stuff is my usual fall back gift for kiddos. I love these sets - http://www.amazon.com/Alex-Toys-170W...ref=pd_sim_t_8

Since she likes girly-girl stuff...maybe a vanity? I've seen some in the stores for kids...unfortunately Rachel way too big for them. I've seen some cute ones on Pinterest too

Or what about dress-up stuff? Disney princess costumes are a huge hit around here with our 6yr old.

Addison is six also and we are at a loss as to what to get her for hanukkah.

Have you considered an American Girl doll?

I got Brooke(8) an MP3 player and some little speakers for her birthday last month. She really loved that. Elisa (nearly 5) is absolutely fascinated with it too, and I know she'd be quite happy if she found one in her stocking at Christmas.
