Default What book should I read next?

Just read "the best of me" by Nicholas Sparks, and want to read more this year, not sure if "the happiness project "is my type

So any ideas?

You are asking the right group of ladies around here. We are all book worms.

Here is my List.........

Anything by Nicholas Sparks but my favs are A Walk to Remember, The Last Song, Safe Haven, The Notebook, The Lucky One...........those are my favorites but I think all of his are good.

Also, ANYTHING by Kristin Hannah. My favorites of hers is WInter Garden, Firefly Lane, True Colors, and Night Road.

If you like a good light read......
Gallagher Series by Ally Carter (young adult series but I enjoyed them)
Cedar Cove Series by Debbie Macomber

If you like fantasy Fiction......
The Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs
The Eden Trilogy by Nicole Williams
The Significance Series by Shelly Crane

Popular series that if you haven't already read, you need to.....
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer

Christian Fiction that I really enjoyed....
The Shack by William Young
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
Loves Comes Softly Series by Janette Oke

That should be a good start and I am sure you will hear from many others. Happy reading!!!!

another suggestion...not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for:

These Hidden Things by Heather Gudenkauf - along the lines of a Jodi Piccoult book...I loved it!

Along the lines of historical fiction, have you read Outlander series? First 3 books are really good, 4th one was slow read for me. Haven't finished 5th yet and it's been almost a year since I started to read it.

I just finished reading True Colors. I grew up in the same area as her True Colors books, and in the same county as the Cedar Cove series. I LOVE reading stories about my home town area! I also liked On Mystic Lake by Kristin Hannah for the same reason.

I second the The Hunger Games trilogy and the Outlander series. I don't recommend reading the 7th one though until the 8th one comes out because to say the 7th one ends with a cliffhanger is a huge understatement. (can you tell I'm still mad? )

Also love these:

Big Stone Gap series by Adriana Trigiani
Dublin Murder Squad series: In the Woods, The Likeness, Faithful Place by Tana French
Stieg Larsson books (The Girl...)
